I couldn't believe how gassed Stamkos looked in that interview in between 2nd and 3rd period. We got em on the ropes boys. Gotta get at least a split in Tampa. If they are this tired with all that rest after 2 games, we can't make it easier on them. Gallant is making Cooper look for answers and it doesn't look like he's finding them.
^^ This is the key , make it a battle of attrition all the boys have to do is keep skating they are setting a ridiculous pace for most of the game .TB have a ton of miles on their legs they are feeling it , hence the mistakes they are making because they are exhausted .

Wow! I’m looking forward to watching it now.
I watched the MSG Post Game Show right after the game but didn’t watch anything else.
Just waited fior all the clips to be put up so I could post them, then went to bed.
thanks for the service btw. couldn't like them cos I'm on the naughty step

Would you say that Zibanjead, Stamkos and Ovechkin have the best shot from the circles?
probably.
I know I couldn't care less for the all-star, but I remember taking a look at some clips of it, including some dumb cringe compo when they shot at the huge playing cards - almost everyone hit all the shots, but Stammer absolutely ripped em.

Coming into the playoffs I wanted to see growth from this team. Especially the kids. Not just our young forwards but KAM and Schneider. Foxy and Lindgren too.

And we all knew Igor is an all world goalie but how was he going to respond to an inevitable game where everything goes wrong? Well he had two of them in the first series. He was beginning to get doubted by the hockey world and his upcoming Vezina win was starting to look anti climactic.

Then he turned the tables on the Pens and we flipped the script on the Canes. Now we have punched the 2 time defending champs right in the face. We haven’t KO’d them yet but it has been quite the ride and our future is the envy of the league.

I invest some part of my happiness in this team and often that feels irrational. It is paying dividends now. LFGNYR!!!

Wow Fox was just so incredible last night. We are so lucky. Special player, best hockey brain I have seen on the NYR.
best game from him I remember
stepped up these play-offs
we're blessed

i cant stop watching Kakkos goal

Rutta and Hedman got lobotomized on that play. both of them completely fell for Fox’s fake before he fed the tightest pass of his life to a wide open Kakko. that was special
his (non)movement fakes are something
Makar may be more technical/physical, but Foxy's plays...

Depending on how this team performs over the next decade, we have a couple numbers that could end up never being worn again. 31 and 23 are prime candidates. 93 and 20 are longer shots, but a cup would go a long way.

Also IDK what the announcer was on about last night with "Vatrano has maybe been the best Ranger"

He hasn't been awful, but he was pushed around like a child in the Carolina series.

The takes have been odd.

I miss the TNT guys honestly.

Vatrano has been great through 2 games in this series.

Best player? No, but he’s been a pretty significant contributor.

Also outside of a reallllly dumb pass in the 3rd period, Panarin played well yesterday despite the lack of points.

His line mates let him down. Strome is seeping into biggest disappointment territory and I wasn't expecting the world from him either.

Right but the fella was talking about the whole playoffs on balance, at least that's how I heard it.

Vatrano has been just okay over the full postseason.

Mostly invisible for sure.

When hes shown up, hes really shown up. Considering what he is as a player, you can't ask for more.

Best player in the post season would be dumb though. He isn't even top 6.

Agreed. But honestly, I might put him in the top 7-8 so far through these playoffs.

The best players before him so far in the playoffs have been Igor, Mika, Fox, K'Andre, Kreider, and Chytil for sure.

Then either Trouba/Vatrano.

Id throw Copp ahead of him too, despite last night's shoddy performance.

And Motte even if their roles are as different as they can be.

Guys… not only is Henrik a beast good luck charm, but we fed him at like 12:30am and 5am and he’s been sleeping … like a baby? … every night so far. Who is this kid?
So as a father of 3, im going to put it like this: You know how the Lightning thought they'd own the Rangers, being older and more experienced. Turned out the Rangers were a wild beast waiting to break out and the Lightning weren't ready for it and now they can't contain the Rangers and the Lightning look like they don't know what hit them and they look exhausted?

Just wait. LOL

I'd much rather have Laffy-Chytil-Kakko on the ice than Panarin-Strome

There's no reason for Laffy to be getting 10 minutes. That's absurd.

The ice slowly started tilting late game when they were 'benched'. They play with energy and pace. They give the team energy. They play in the O-Zone.

KEEP PLAYING THEM IN ALL SCENARIOS

yeah ESPN's production leaves a lot to be desired. but it still beats having to listen to Edzo and Keith Jones on the other channel.
