I’m concerned about game 3 and us getting beaten down big by Tampa. Not only are the coming home, backs against the wall so they’re sure to have their best effort of the series, but this game being an afternoon game concerns me that our guys are gonna be dead tired. And thus dead tired, lose big and losing big will give Tampa more confidence and momentum. Idk I just don’t feel great about it.

Why would our guys be any more tired than them? The 9 game break is in the rear view mirror and we're younger. What's good about this is that the Rangers know firsthand how fast a series can change and it's the two time defending champs. So I think they'll be ready. But who knows? I wasn't expecting the team to get skull f***ed against the Pens in games 3 and 4. And yes I realize that game 3 was a one goal game but going down 4-1 in the first was not a good start.

Guys… not only is Henrik a beast good luck charm, but we fed him at like 12:30am and 5am and he’s been sleeping … like a baby? … every night so far. Who is this kid?
Ever heard of the 4 month sleep regression? Enjoy the false sense of security now!

.... lol. Really? We need depth. Thanks for telling us that. None of us could have figured it out. What' will you tell us next? The strategy to win games is to outscore the opponent?
Spare me and the rest of us the hypocrisy.
NOW you admit I was right about depth which as I explained by extension also means youth to = affordable contracts.
But when I fight to keep Kravtsov and ditch Strome, where are you?
And Chytil now emerging so clear no one can deny it; previously I said I saw it and he just needed the right linemates. Again, where the ef are you?
Talking after the fact is one thing; getting it right before is something else.
And until I sense I am getting the proper respect I deserve for being accurate more often than not, whether or not that is outside the box or counterintuitive to conventional wisdom, I am gonna continue to 'pat myself on the back'.
Tell it like it IS, let your conscience be your guide.

Always first to pat yourself on the back.

You have been wrong way more than you've been right.

Actually I've never seen you correct even once.
One of my biggest detractors, keep embarrassing yourself.

Underline: We all make mistakes but I'm confident my headcount is fine.

Bold: you must be blind. Chytil says hello.

Tom Wilson was the Pearl Harbor for this team. He woke up a sleeping dragon up and down the entire organization.
I don’t know that I agree.

We are primarily winning due to magic from Shesterkin, Fox, Zibanejad and the kids.

Goodrow was a savvy addition but Blais isn’t even here, Reaves isn’t really all that necessary… I still say our reaction to that incident was misplaced.

why don't you take your nonsense back to the main boards and keep humiliating yourself? I can't tell if you're a troll or really as dumb as your posts make you look.

You’re just ridiculous at this point. How do you even call yourself a fan?

Two simultaneous ad hominem arguments in one thread is too difficult to follow.

Not really an argument. Dude just needs to f*** himself right off instead of questioning my fandom.

Too many excuses out there from the outside/media.

They had their #2 goalie, they're tired, they had too much of a break. That's all we have been hearing during this run. Even Hank himself during the postgame...."they look tired and this is very good news for Rangers fans"

At some point that tone needs to change. I have not once heard anyone say the Rangers team beat a very good Carolina team. What if....just what if this Rangers team is actually a very good team?

This team is getting me so hopeful I'm feeling optimistic about the upcoming Jets season.
Yeah, good luck with that. Refuse to spend another dollar on that sorry ass team and that sorry ass Football league, where a player cannot even touch a QB, (looking at you Brady) and you cannot decipher a pass interference call with no penalty. In bounds, out of bounds, juggled, 1 leg in etc. Pathetic. So are the JETS.

I really think it's because they're the new ones to the party. All the talking heads are former players for the most part or have been in the media for a very long time.

They expect every team to go through it before they win. Learn the hard lessons everyone else did along the way. Rarely if ever do teams go from no playoffs as a group to the conference finals. They're expecting the other shoe to drop.

The biggest thing they aren't accounting for is that they do in fact have the best goalie in the world and that they're young guys are approaching the 150-250 game marks in their careers. It's when players start to hit their stride. They're all doing it at the same time.

Is this real?
Yeah man, live the dream and enjoy. Its happening right before our eyes. Do you think that every previous Cup winning fans REALLY EXPECTED to win the cup that year? MAYBE, but a few.
Oh and btw, that doesnt mean we will win 2 more vs Tampa, and then beat whatever defenseless team faces us in the finals.
But yeah, by all means enjoy this unbelievable ride. I believe, despite what I said.
And in the end, we have Crosby, Jarry, deSmith, Andersen, Jarvis and (am I forgetting someone?) to thank for getting injured and paving the way for an easy..........oh wait.

Edit: oh yeah Brayden Point. Knew I forgot someone for additional excuse.

f*** yes 😁 time for more whiskey
So, speaking of whiskey. Been drinking aged Jim Beam. Then a few days ago was gifted 12 yr aged Ballantines Scotch whiskey, AND an obviously aged bottle of Jack. Unfortunately, it came from the recent passing of a resident in the building in which I manage. The daughter had no use for it as they were flying back to Colorado.
Didn't drink those, (game day, anyway) as I am obviously superstitious and staying with what brought us here. The aged Jim Beam.
