Talking after the fact is one thing; getting it right before is something else.
And until I sense I am getting the proper respect I deserve for being accurate more often than not, whether or not that is outside the box or counterintuitive to conventional wisdom, I am gonna continue to 'pat myself on the back'.

1. You're on an internet forum. What do you mean "proper" respect? I don't see anyone violating rules. Are we supposed to dig up some old posts about the 1/10 player assessments you were correct on?
2. You wanted to trade at different points Ziba, Kreider, and then Strome at this deadline. YOU didn't believe in giving this team a shot. In your world we are a failure unless we are sitting on 17 draft picks so we can draft more Jessimans and Sanguinettis.
3. No one likes people that go around telling people how "right" they are. Humility gets more respect than arrogance.

I remember many posters BEGGING to trade off Chytil as he was deemed a bust after/during this season. Yeah, enough is ENOUGH for a 22 yr. Old failure. Low and behold. Probably for every 5 ridding his presence, there were 5 having patience. Patience is INDEED a virtue sometimes. Kudos to those who think like I did. Kudos to mgmt. as this time mgmt. made the right call.
Still may never be a superstar, but he will always be a solid player in this league. He's STILL good, young, talented kid, until he's not.
No pretending that w/o this kid line, we are NOT where we are.
