The Rangers have won four straight games and six out of seven games since going down 2-0 to Carolina. The Rangers have won eight straight home games.

3pm start tomorrow afternoon. The Rangers have the opportunity to make this a short series which isn't in the Rangers DNA. Usually the Rangers would have lost game two after winning game one.

Love these kinds of posts. The butthurt is real.

What's more everybody's been banging on how Tampa always bounces back right after a loss. Series are meant to be broken.. question is when and by whom.
The hardest one to break are your own bad ones I guess. So it's looking good for this group.

Any other elder emos among us? Little known fact, Vindicated was written after Chris Carraba time traveled to 2022 and saw this Rangers team.

Have you seen the Warped Tour cover band? They put on a great show

So I like to take full credit for Fox’s brilliant game. Sporting my new Foxy shirt. Lol.
Don’t be ridiculous. Carolina developed him via e-mail communication, that’s why he had a brilliant game.

I honestly never seen a team get better as the playoffs go on.

We keep improving.

Strome still sucking the life out of me
What we are witnessing is special. The whole season has been special. But this is on a level I never seen from the Rangers and never thought I'd ever see. 94 was special of course but even this team is doing things that team didn't do in the playoffs, its like the anti-thesis of that 94 team that had its youth gutted to add veterans near the end of their careers. This team is full of its youth contributing huge, with more on the way. I don't know how it ends but it's an amazing ride. I told my kids, my son is the same exact age I was in 94 when they won the Cup, I told them to enjoy this and live in it, because it's rare and there's no telling if it will happen again. If this team doesn't win the Cup, will we still not remember this as a magical run? I think I'll always look back on it as one of the best times I ever had as a Rangers fan and hockey fan in general. And for me the struggle to even watch some of the games I'll remember. I couldn't even watch the games live the first two and a half months of the season because I was away. Now if they get to the Final I'll have to figure out a way to watch it because ill be away right smack in the Cup Final, hopefully it would go to the 1st week of July when I'm back home. It's like I have to earn the right just to watch it LOL. What a ride. Nothing is over yet. But man this is wild.

Which third line is better?

Kid Line or Zucc/Brassard/Pouliot (2014)
Just think about how special it is that this line and all the kids are doing what they're doing. Lafreniere, Kakko, Chytil, Miller, Schneider are all 22 and under. Fox is 24. Shesterkin is 26. The "vets" are mostly only in their late 20s. Kreider is 30 he still has half a decade of great hockey left.

I'm like beside myself in disbelief at what's happening right now. I'm sure we all are. This is special. And I'm so grateful it's happening. The future is bright.

The Carolina heavy forecheck has provided the Rangers with the recipe for breaking out against Tampa.

The fact that they have a half a second more time as Tampa is slower on their forecheck (thus far) is allowing the Rangers more time to process and not make rushed decisions about where to go with the puck.

Its allowing the team to break out with speed AND support creating real problems for the Tampa D that while big, are not very fleet of foot.

If they can keep putting Tampa on their heels, we should win this series.

We may be 2-5 on the road, but those were MUST have wins and we won. We know how to play on the road. Should we head to Tampa with that must win mindset, I like our chances to at the very least split.

Tampa was playing like they knew this period was for their season. They threw everything they had those last 4 minutes.

They otherwise looked gassed and frustrated. If Sunday's game wasn't a day away game, I'd feel really good about it. It's an auto loss though. Rangers never win weekend day games away.

Steal one in Tampa and this team's chances at a Cup Final are very good.

Now, about those six beers...
Possibly. I’m concerned that we threw everything we had at them in the second period and did not score. The last period and 7 minutes we looked vulnerable.

This is probably needless worrying but I hope the momentum isn’t turning with the series going back to Tampa too.

Just split in TB and we should be fine.
