Not sure humor was the right way to go on this one

And another one.....let's drain every bit of juice out of this franchise, thought there's has any left after 3

But this.....well, this is the way!

Finished Jack Ryan S3 as well. Not bad, though agree with the underwhelming finale comment. Starting to come around to Halpert as an operative.

Saw Plane as well. I have to say, I appreciate Butler for just making straightforward 80s style action movies to turn your brain off to. I watch mostly for the comedy (Olympus Has Fallen, etc).

Last quick comment - have been underwhelmed by Yellowstone S4. Writers running low on ideas and character development so leaning too heavily on the peripheral fluff.

Looking like Korea has produced another winner. The reviews are overwhelmingly positive but I’ll have to see for myself.

Here’s the trailer. Netflix series in Korean with English subtitles. Unlike most US trailers, it doesn’t give away the whole story.

I watch tons of K-dramas lately.
I really enjoyed the Uncanny Counters and Vincenzo

Enjoying Last of Us. Never played the game.
Saw the first episode. The way those early scenes took a quick turn from a state of apparent normalcy reminded me very much of The Strain, which to me, featured some of the most macabre characters and scenes I have ever watched.

Finally started House of the Dragons. Ended up watching 4 episodes in a row after the game. I like it, Paddy Conmsidine is good as KIng Viserys Targaryen, in fact all the actors are great and the story develops well. Still no word from Winterfell and the Stark Clan though. It brings back good memories from GoT.

I also noticed that Night Court has been resurrected with Harry's daughter playing judge and John Laroquette is
back as Public Defender.. .

The Strain… I forgot about that show. I recall enjoying it a lot at first but it felt tired and dragged near the end.

I actually thought about World War Z at the beginning. That said, the whole sequence in the car to the confrontation with the soldier in the flashback was harrowing.

This has probably been mentioned here previously but what the heck.

Gonna give a shout out to "What we do in the shadows"

I saw the film a few years back and thought it was hilarious. I kept seeing the thumbnail on Disney+ thinking it was the movie and well...i recently discovered it's also a tv show.

If you liked the movie, or arrested development, i cannot stress how much you'll like this show. Brilliant stuff.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Fauda. Binge watched it and was hooked. Gritty and violent. I can't wait till the next season.

Netflix has been giving me a lot of Korean shows and movies recommendations lately, Alchemy of Soul being one of them. I like the medieval/fantasy stuff so I gave it a chance.

First up, each episode last about 75min. It has 40 episodes. At times, those episodes feel way too long. This isn't something that I'm used and it's hard to actually binge watch it.

Now I was expecting something serious with his fair share of drama.. but it's kinda the opposite. It's full of cringe-worthy comedy and romance. Then again, I ask myself why am I still watching this? But I still go on, laughing my ass off whenever the cringe starts

The Main Character is the anti-hero type: he's lazy, carefree but he's still supposed to become the best mage there ever was.

This isn't a great show but the plot is good enough that I want to know what's going to happen next.. so I keep watching :DD

Been watching the reboot series of Quantum Leap, which I discovered randomly.

I’ve never gotten into the first version (which aired from 89-93) as I couldn’t take Scott Bakula.

The reboot’s cast is likeable even if the pace is rather slow at times. Eleven episodes released in its 1st season, last one aired on Jan. 30th.

Updating some stuff I’ve been watching.

Your Honor is excellent. We’re 4 episodes into Season 2, the episodes are being released weekly. Last one aired yesterday.

Mayor of Kingstown is also good, and like Your Honor, it’s at Season 2 episode 4, which was released yesterday.

On my list: Happy Valley, The Last of Us, 1923. And Strike, Season 5 (first 4 seasons were amazing) — a Brit detective series written by JK Rowling under a pseudonym in the days when she was not known. The casting and acting are superb. Thanks @GoodKiwi for the recommendation.

Watched in full recently, these series: Tulsa King, Echo 3. Well worth binging.

Enjoyed The Cleaning Lady to an extent — liked the casting but storyline was thin.

If you’re looking for a poignant docu-series try Trafficked with Mariana van Zeller. She tackles intriguing stories while accessing sources that most journalists would not dare get involved with. It’s in its 3rd season, episode 3 of Season 3 aired last week.

Severance: Uncomfortable, original, unique and simply mesmerizing! Acting is great, low production value but still very effective. I gave this one a 9.1/10

Shining Girls: Slow paced, hard to follow, took me at least 2-3 episodes to get into it but once I was in. Moss is great but it's not a series that is another level. Good binge but not for everyone! 6.8/10

Yeah I saw that, looking for Allies for a fight against Valeria. Targaryans are a bitch, Vaemond Velaryon found out after calling the princess a whore. That was a beautiful beheading, Swift and clean. It had gotten a little quiet in earlier episodes, but really picked up at the end. They sure love those dragons, I was surprised when Princess Rhaenys Targaryan showed up riding one after refusing to bend the knee to the new Queen . I thought for a minute she was going to dracarys the whole bunch, but that would not be very good for the story, the heavy breathing was scary enough.

It wasn't GoT good, but I still loved it and can't wait for the rest. No sooner than 2024 I think.
