526 vs 403

But to be fair, the next closest to Drasaitl is MacKinnon at 442

Mcdavid at an other worldly 582
Oh you’re being totally fair. I have no problem putting MacK in my top 2 but AM being above Drai is an absolute joke with zero merit other than “Leaf fan”

Just another season under his belt better than his peers. I wonder how many it’ll take before he gets proper respect. Someone tell Keefe to make sure Marner is stapled to AMs line at all times next year, he clearly needs the help

You could definitely add another 15 points to McDrai's point totals if they stacked their top line 5vs5 like Leafs and other teams do.

He's recaptured his playoff form from last year over the past couple weeks. Playing like the best player in the world over that stretch.

Good shot at 130 if he keeps it up over the final 5 games. The guy is insane.

He already was producing at Kucherov's 128 point pace during the COVID season until it abruptly ended for him at 110 - thought that pace wouldn't happen again but here we are. Still short two games to possibly eclipse that record, but he has five left, three of which are against league bottom feeders.

This thread brings up a question in me.

Which effect is greater, mcdavids on Drai or Drai on McDs?

Shades of Orr/Esposito
McDavid is obviously the best, but Drai helps him just as much as the other way around. They have unreal chemistry and push each other. Drai pushed McDavid to be more selfish this year and look what happened. They push each other to be better.

He is absolutely insane. I think this may be the year they come out of the west. I just have a feeling. Skinner is the only thing I see potentially being sketchy. Sure the defense could be better but there offense is just disgusting. They are on fire at the right time too. If its not my blue and orange, I hope its the Oil!

Aside from Orr and Espo, has any other generational talent had a guy like Drai to work with?

Ill assume we all think Drai > Backstrom.

Drai > Malkin?
Drai > Messier?
Drai > Jagr?

Drai and McD spend more time together than all these too.

I also have this feeling. I think they go unstoppable mode.

Yup. Dont forget the addition of Ekholm, that was an incredible move. He is perfect for them.
Yep, Ive been saying that ever since. Shouldve also spent their next few picks but I think its still enough.

Draisaitl is better than Malkin easy man. Let's get it straight. Drai is more potent than Messier offensively and easily a better playoff player than Jagr.

However...

No one is on Messiers level at winning.
Drai will not pass Jagrs 149
Malkin has cups

Let's see when it's all Said and done if Drai catches the other 2 on the all time list. That's a tough task.
