I get it, your Leafs, were my Red Sox for years(every year till the millennium), always the bridesmaid.
The important thing is how important your ownership group treats the Leafs and good or bad moves, try to win a cup, first and foremost. The Jacobs are capitalists first and foremost and view the B's only as an investment. Only spending when sales are down.
The Bruins reign of constant high competitiveness, for a little while. I'm cool with that, it's been 20+ of competitive play.
But, mark my words, Carlo will disappoint, he's just not a tough player, and by that I don't just mean physically. He can be exposed and when the stakes are high even more so. Just do a search on the B's forum. We did not expect to get that much for him and are pretty happy with the return for someone that a lot of us wanted gone if only for minimal return.
Now go beat FLA, WASH, CAR, or TB and get that cup!!..and much respect for the sovereignty of
!
