2 Leaf wins and 1 Tampa loss is home ice now I think... so hopefully by early next week that is the case one way or another.

Woll played well... and the bottom lines too. Good game by Kerfoot and Zar.

Matthews played the best out of the top 4 guys so glad he got the open netter. 38. I say he tops out at 41. Great still for a down year.

Just want them rested the last couple games hopefully.

What has been our record in the last 5 games of the season to finish 2018, 2019 and 2021 and 2022? I always want to see them go into wrecking ball mode and finish strong with momentum but I don’t remember them doing that. You always get stuff like a Ryan Poehling hat trick and dropping games to lottery teams and people always just expect to flip the switch.

Willie needs to watch a couple of games from the press box.

He has been playing without any sort of purpose since the trade deadline.

For such a great skater, he seems to be moving through tar out there, it's not a good look.

I wonder how interesting next Tuesday's game against Tampa will be now. It will be very difficult for them to take home ice now. That swing game could be a difference maker. Meh, at least there's something to play for to finish the season.

Tampa needs to go 5-0 and have us go .500 to have a chance for home ice. Us going .500 is certainly possible, but I don't see TB going 5-0 down the stretch

I'd rest our top guys against TB and run Simmonds, Zohorna, Clifford

I know we clinched, but the play from this team since the trade deadline has been troubling. These guys should have the experience by now to avoid these types of lulls before the playoffs. As far as I am concerned there is some intriguing match ups left in this schedule and I would love for this team to play with some pride and commitment going into the playoffs.

Look at the Leafs win - loss record from March 1st on.. Only 2 times did they win 2 games in a Row and one was a SO.

Its been more Win 1 and then Lose 1 which is not what you want heading into the playoffs

Thats exactly what the Avs did heading into last years playoffs in their last 5 games including getting smoked 8-3 by the Leafs.

Actually if we go .500 (5 of a possible 10 points) they can't catch us. Best they can do is 106 points and we'd have 107. Where it gets interesting is if we only win 1 or 2 of our remaining games. Then they have a chance, especially with the 4 point swing game against us.

2021: 2-1-2
2019: 1-3-1
2018: 3-2

Leafs have 5 games left:
1)at BOS, 2)Vs MTL, 3)at FLA, 4)at Bolts, 5) at NYR

Bolts have 5 games left:
1)at NYR, 2)at NYI, 3)at OTT, 4)Vs Leafs, 5)Vs Wings

The max Bolts can get is 10 points so that will take them to 106 points. Leafs need at minimum 5 points to clinch home ice in that sense

If bolts lose at least 2 games and Leafs win 1 more game in the remaining 5 games Leafs still clinch the home ice

Other scenarios:
Tampa goes 4-1; Leafs need 3 points
Tampa goes 3-2 Leafs need 1 point
Tampa goes 2-3 Leafs need 0 points

The Columbus goaltender had a good game, I thought Woll looked nice and solid for us as well

Tavares and Nylander don't look good together, I'd be seriously tempted to split those two up
