Woll and Sammy cannot be our tandem next season. Woll's career high is 37 games in a season, ever, and Sammy's is 49, including playoffs. Both have also had injuries. Woll has played every game this season against non-playoff teams at the NHL level.
It would be pretty poor management to run those two as our starting tandem next season imo.

I wonder how interesting next Tuesday's game against Tampa will be now. It will be very difficult for them to take home ice now. That swing game could be a difference maker. Meh, at least there's something to play for to finish the season.

Yes, rolling an incredibly cost effective tandem of a highly touted goalie prospect finally living up to expectations and the Leafs first home grown/internally developed goalie since…(I honestly don’t know).
Team has tons of firepower and a highly effective defensive system, roll them out and let one of them seize the opportunity.

I like the flow of the PP puck distribution more when JT stays in the slot area and doesn’t get too involved in the pass around. Let him be a net front or back door or deflection option but keep him away from having to grenade the puck or get swarmed. Nylander’s bobbling a lot lately too and needs to wake up.

Both goalies have played pretty well in their roles. There’s an argument for more depth in net and more insurance policy, sure. Or if you want to explore a bluechipper I don’t mind. But I don’t see them as a weak link at all.
Samsonov has done more than enough to be a 1A. Is a 1A. Woll has been incubating for so long you need to see what he is.
