Congratulations on tying up the Series, folks.

Really happy to hear that JT did not suffer any structural damage to his neck.

Just wanted to post this combination of GIF’s for the last Goal by KerFOOT

Great game by the boys. Defence was solid. Physical without taking penalties.

Hyman still not himself. Marner is not earning $3 million nevermind $11 million. We’ve seen this movie before in past playoffs. I believe they said he hadn’t scored in 14 playoff games. More concerning is his lack of compete and lackadaisical play.

Am I wrong for thinking that Matthews still has another level to reach?

I keep seeing people on Twitter saying he was the #1 star of the game. But I feel like he can take over a game EVEN MORE.

And that's not a knock against him. He was great tonight.

Of course he can. Hopefully he's just getting his feet wet this game and we'll see him dive right in the rest of these playoffs. He is the 2nd/3rd best player in the world for a reason.

Huge boost for Sandin getting success on the PP goal. Matthews is a force. Engvall with a very good game, just wanted him to rip his shirt off in the scrum at the end and do a hulk roar.

It's kinda nice to see how our boys react to all the nonsense the Hans are dihing out (slashers, after whistle shot and general cheap shots). We just take it, move on...

Now, I loved that we were giving it back tonight, not nearly as cheaply, but the Hans were flapping their arms complaining so much they almost took flight.

The clear sign of a loser is someone who can dish it out, but not take it.

We looked much better, still another level for Matty and Mitch though I think.

Engvall looked dangerous all night, Could have easily had a goal. Sandin looked awesome. Nylander playing well, Rielly too. Campbell very solid. Spezza fantastic for him at this age.Hyman great as usual too.

…but my big shout out is to Simmonds, who gave me such a smile with that great slash at the end so cleverly done without the ref seeing it…In this playoff series, the toilet seats have shown selves to be capable of driving to low levelss of scumbaggery and dirty tactics all across the board, and we were prepared to get them back in kind.

and nobody wanted to even take on Simmonds after all of that, which is kind of telling actually in a game where they know they have lost it and you might as well get them back for what a pest he’s been.

He’s a beauty.

Now they just got to get foligno going.... I have a feeling he will play a big part in game 3.... on the road with fans(I think).... he’ll definitely make some plays

He looked very good next to Matthews and Marner in his first few. Would love to see him get back to that level.

Habs were bad, Leafs were good. However, we all know we can play much better. Can't count on the Habs to be that undisciplined every night going forward and gift us powerplays. I expect both teams to step it up next game.

By the way, will the Habs have fans in their arena next game or is that only for game 6 if there is one?

I want to see us dish out more nastiness. I don’t think we’re quite even with the extras Montreal has been dishing out on every play.
