The thing with the challenge that had me confused was the positioning of Jumbo. The goal was on the opposite side of where Jumbo allegedly interfered. He had absolutely no infleuence on the goal and Price did not contest it in the least. He got beat clean.

It was to the point where my family and I were wondering if the broadcast had it wrong and that MTL was actually challenging for offside on the entry. It made no sense. I recognize them dealing with 2 reviews at the same time and all, but that was a one take, single angle review in my mind. I’m not even convince any part of Thornton’s stick even touched Carey. It was a terrible challenge. At the end of the day, I’m just happy they got it right

I hope that picture is pinned to the board where the bounty money usually is. This should be the war cry the Leafs unite with. loved this game, what a response after game one, one thing though...

im not a negative person at all but how much better would that 4th line look with nash or brooks over thornton..hes been a massive dissapointment so far. i turn blue everytime hes on the ice from holding my breath
