So we went with 10 forwards 7 D, gave 3 of our best Players the night off and Tampa had 8 PP’s, which team wins? How can Tampa hope to compete when we have a full roster and they get half the PP’s they got tonight. Get the brooms out…
Never count them out, don't take them lightly and don't let up. Beat T.B and tell yourself.you can win a Cup.

Since the early 2000s this is probably fhe best chance that I can remember if I were prognosticating pre-playoffs. I won't count the Covid Cup where the structure was best for a run.

Tampa has lost 8 of their last 11.

Knies is a big kid.

You need to speak with Mr. Jake McCabe.
Good to hear. These are the types of guys you win Cups with.

if all is as it seems this is the general lineup I would have put together at the deadline. Keefe looks fo be using the 6 D I would employ for Tampa as well.

I feel more invested for this reason. I Beleaf...

I know they had a ton of shots, but a lot to the outside...

Woll also played great and they had a lot inside too, but they were forced to shoot from far out for a lot of shots.

Looks like the Florida game last night too.

I'm really liking Woll, the kid looks massive in net and he looks to have strong fundamentals

Calm, composed, mature
Great combination of attributes

Knies looked good as well, only his second game but you could see the promise and I think he's going to work well with skill players
I'm not concerned if he does get some games during the playoffs, I think he can handle himself

Proud of the team, found a way to win even in extremely trying circumstances, were going to need that moving forward

- You can see the value of trading for McCabe + ROR in this game. They were unreal down the stretch
- Joseph Woll is really good, I'm happy going with him as the backup in the playoffs
- I really liked Knies - ROR - Nylander. Like a lot. I know it won't last but I kinda wish we could get an extended look at it
- This reffing is ass

Those are risky shots to be taking when Marner’s on against their slow D. Hedman and Sergachev handle the puck up high an exploitable amount.

But they do create some great scoring chances .... those shots from the point give me nightmares.

Top 5 for 5v5 adjusted xGF% from the game:

1. Nylander
2. Liljegren
3. Knies
4. Tavaras
5. McCabe

The analytics liked Knies game tonight too.
