I don't buy it - we'll see.
I do, he's basically the only name that's truly been out there.
Doug Armstrong a little bit but that never seemed realistic

I feel like a broken record saying this again and again but he's a politician to the core. These Dubas types of people always have a self-serving agenda behind the scenes.Yeah dubas is a straight up rat with how all this played out. Says he needs time away for his family, yet hes checking in with the pens less than a week after he said he would be nowhere else this year.
Dubas learned from Matthews and Marner on how to be a little f***in rat during contract negotiations. Its actually disgusting behavior, and him using a cop out like his family is so f***in pathetic.
There's a whole list of potential replacements. It's been a week and the playoffs are still onI do, he's basically the only name that's truly been out there.

My biggest concern with BT is that he hired Sutter and his drafting does not look great.I like Treliving for the role. But I'm not sure we can expect too much to be different if Shanny is still planning to meddle and dictate things like he did with Dubas. The puppet doesn't matter if it's the same hand inside.
Perhaps Shanahan did more meddling because Dubas was young and inexperienced. I don't want to make blind assumptions. But I still don't like the idea of a GM that isn't fully autonomous.
How do you know it wasn’t the Calgary owner who hired Sutter ?My biggest concern with BT is that he hired Sutter and his drafting does not look great.
I don't. Usually it is the GM that hires the coach. How do you know it wasn’t the Calgary owner who hired Sutter ?
It's not unusual to have to report to the presidentI like Treliving for the role. But I'm not sure we can expect too much to be different if Shanny is still planning to meddle and dictate things like he did with Dubas. The puppet doesn't matter if it's the same hand inside.

He must have majored in drama at school. Such a bs narrative. I hope hes blackbslled like Nolan for trying to take Mucklers job....slimeball....I feel like a broken record saying this again and again but he's a politician to the core. I think it was me and @thewave telling people he was putting on an act for his postseason presser last week and a few of the posters seemed legitimately outraged for even suggesting such a thing.
2015-2016 draft years were awesome though. Plus it's the scouting department that's in charge of all that. Our scouting is much better than Calgary's.My biggest concern with BT is that he hired Sutter and his drafting does not look great.
From what I've heard, Treliving did not want Sutter, it was ownership who wanted, and hired, him.My biggest concern with BT is that he hired Sutter and his drafting does not look great.
Seriously.A pretty massive joke that Treliving is basically the only candidate it seems.
Seriously.
Someone please convince me otherwise
One hope I have for Shanny not to hire Brad is that he can talk to ownership and knows how to deal with them and Shanny may see that as a threat, especially after the failed power play Dumbass tried to do.
I'm with you. Treliving wouldn't be my first choice but I understand given the circumstances (short timeframe, experience req'd) why Shanny would go with him. I think there is enough there to at least give him a chance. Undoubtedly he's going to have to clean up Dubas' mess so it's not going to be an easy ride for him.I’m ok if it’s Treliving to be honest. He should be able to handle the mess that Dooby left.
It's a really good time to dump the Leafs for a new team. May I suggest Pittsburgh!?I threw up in my mouth a little bit

none of these chains make a really great pie, but Boston Pizza is miles from that pizza Pizza crap. anyone in the west end of Toronto do yourself a favour and get a pie from Il Paesano's, cut my teeth on their crust as a kid in the early sixties. I get one anytime I go to the big smoke...........You wouldn't say that if you've eaten it.
Pizza slice is easily the worst food item they sell there.
To their credit they do have some other good offerings at a fairly decent price.
OT - I find all these various management threads that basically say the same things hard to keep track of.
Be great if there was just a catch all thread on the subject.
