Can i get the apologists post some charts about how good we were tonight ? I’ll wait
This is my argument too, why make the third line if they are the fourth line. Anaheim is a game you want to try and score 4/5/6/7 goals to get it going, not win a 2-1 contest
Babs 100% decided that getting 5 mil a year to do nothing was the way to go.
Might have also decided to come back ( and lessen the impact on mlse) if dubas didn't ruin his rep through Media leaks on the way out to justify the firing.
Was one if he most unprofessional hachet jobs I've ever seen
I pop in now and then and yet even after our teams performance people still defend him.OG Dubas haters reunion right hereHope you're good man.
They still won't listen. LOL
I know you Dubas homers are really struggling with eating your crow. But I'll continue to laugh should you not head my advice. Been doing it for 5 years now.
I'm actually excited about the Leafs again! His time is near. And we need him gone to move forward.
Did you read his post...Dufus made sure thar Babcock would be seen in the worse possible way.So you feel like Babs thought the best thing for his legacy would be to get fired from the mecca of hockey - and then not get hired by anyone in the league, and then just go into the sunset on a sour note?
4 out of a possible 10 points on the road trip is unacceptable.
You are expecting too much, should they fire Keefe and replace him Trotz, probably... if you want try to make something of the season, but I don't think they will do it. with Babcock the writing was on the wall, I don't think the team has quit on Keefe like how they did with Babcock.
Toronto is a fragile team, that we know of much, they fold and fold and fold till its over, theres no bite or pushback from the team. I don't think a new coach changes that.
Literally having a good season EVER would include a cup. 115 points dont mean shit when you make another 1st round exit again.Literally just had the best season ever. Like last year.
Yeah, you enjoy that fantasy land of another 5-10 years of failure.

I really can't put this on Keefe. How can anyone look at this roster and put it on Keefe? This is one of the worst leaf rosters I've seen in a long time.
Yes, I'll heed the advice of someone who practically lives on these boards.
Dubas has made his fair share of mistakes, but with your time on here it's obvious you've read the pros and cons, and decided that this is the hill you want to die on - for the current management to get fired and for us to live through a mediocre Fletcher/JFJ/Lou era.
All to feed your useless ego - "I was right all along".

Yes, the Islanders had a bad year last year, with the extended road trip, lots of key injuries, and being the only team forced to play through their covid outbreak. The three previous years they did better than we did, and at the moment they have a better record, with more goals scored and fewer allowed. As of now? yes Dubas is better than Lou. Lou has been irrelevant for a long time now. The Islanders were awful last year. I'd rather whatever we have now than what Lou has given the people of Nassau.
You didn't read a damn thing about what I said in terms of Covid. You've paid attention to nothing. They had actual success last year. If you have the best season ever, you have to have a lot of successes. Playoffs aside, you don't have a regular season and hart winner without that kind of success.

Keefe was hurting... sounded like a desperate man. Asked if he thought his job was in jeopardy and he started rambling and then was basically pleading for his job... saying ....we just need to get home, we just need to get some healthy bodies back, we had similar start to last season and it turned around.I can almost see Keefe in the post-game scrum saying "It's disappointing, but I saw something tonight we can build on." Perhaps pointing to last season's "positive" loss to Carolina early on that led to the team turning it around.
It's been f***ing painful watching these clowns piss away AM. This is the last thing I wanted. Hence my anger.
I'm sorry my accurate hockey assessment upsets you so. LOL.
Lou did a very similar thing with Komarov - 'overpaid' a player for his impact in the dressing room rather than on the ice. (Yes, Leo was much more successful - too bad Dubas let him walk.)You focus on minutiae, I'll use the big picture as the arbiter of what constitutes a winner.
