They’ve been picking him up for two seasons. How many times do they have to pick him up?

Not excusing Andersen's play of late, but scoring 2 5 on 5 goals in a 5 game series is hardly "picking him up"

the one stat that kind of stunned me was the 10 goals scored on the first shot over the last two years, that's worse then Jonny Berns who had 8, I wonder how many two goal holes Fredlight has treated us to. Berns was really good for that infamous stat

lol... I'd take Bernier over this clown ... I kid... I KID!!!!

It's probably for the best that he doesn't see his own faults right now. Regaining confidence is his only hope to turn things around

Confidence doesn't magically come back.

How does one lose his confidence on the best team in hockey anyway? Must have been spending too much time with Hutchinson.

They should try Muzzin on the PP. He has a bomb from the point, does he not? Rielly just doesn't do it for me.
He won’t pass to Matthews over and over and over. I’m watching it cursing him. I kid you not I’m like a nut watching him look off Matthews regularly.

Yeah now he has to come in in the middle of a losing streak with all of leafs Nation screaming for blood and his whole team looking to him for answers.

No pressure.
Think it's good pressure when you have a team full of guys rooting for you, goalies are meant to be mentally tough.

Its literally happened every year he's been here, they just seem to stretch out longer and longer each season

This is so frustrating but look at the positives, its not like we have been losing because of we have been getting outplayed. Out of the past 6 losses we have should have won 4 of them but a .856 save% in the past 7 games you aren't going to win hockey games, as shown in this stretch.

If ...
Calgary wins in regulation tomorrow, and Winnipeg beats Edmonton in OT/SO, and heck, throw in a Montreal win against the Canucks:

#. Team - GP / PTS
1. Edm - 34 / 41
2. Win - 31 / 40
3. Tor - 32 / 40
4. Mon - 31 / 37
5. Cal - 32 / 35

Considering Calgary, outside of the beatdown by the Oilers, has been surging under Sutter that 5-point difference isn't insurmountable, esp. if the Leafs don't pull it together.

No, the Leafs won't miss the playoffs but ... 5 points ahead of the 5th place team, that has a game in hand? It's far from statistically impossible.
