Actually my case was built on the fact we heavily outplayed the other team and the rate of goals allowed sinking us. I've noted that with specific examples from the game. Instead of focusing on those, you decided to take an extremely literal translation instead of staying on the topic of goaltending and saves v. Opportunities. Hope that clarifies the point, not sure why we're struggling to move past this when I've clarified above and noted my position multiple times.

Looking forward to these Andersen highlights though, hoping they show some future hope for his play improving. The current level of play clearly can't continue

It's not a "great save" at all though, it's actually rather ordinary and expected. Unscreened wrister where he has time to come out and cut down the angle. It'd be a bad goal to allow, like the Tanev goal, especially on a ~10 goal scorer like Bennett.

Hits and blocks have no relevance to gameplay - in fact they have a negative correlation to it.

The team that gets dominated almost always gets more hits and blocks.

Getting outhit and outblocked is actually an indicator that you controlled the game.
