If 2500 fans rattle this team, it's time for a rebuild.I could see it rattling them. 2500 at Bell Centre will probably be louder than 19K at Scotiabank, too

They better. There's really no reason not to, but there wasn't a reason to lay an egg tonight either. They'll win.

Holl isn't on for the OT goal and you don't slide over because the forward is covering appropriately.Justin Holl had a play identical to Sandin where he gave up the puck behind his own net but it was late in the 3rd and the Habs didn't score on the shot so he didn't get benched of course. Then in OT, when Bogosian pinches, Holl fails to move to the middle of the blue line and Galchenyuk gets all the blame when it's supposed to be a dman moving to the middle instead of staying on the far side when he sees his partner pinch.
I'm not blaming Holl for this either. I'm just trying to make the grander point that under Keefe, Leafs dmen have no idea what to do offensively at ES other than random pinches.
Beer goggles - will you feel the same when you're sober?Even if the Leafs loose a game 7 to these
Shmendricks, I will always love the Leafs and Nylander’s hair.
What sucks most about this game, is that we gave it to Montreal with mistakes. We clearly have the better team. There is no way we lose like this again.
You're not wrong, but you want a team who closes things out and takes advantage of situations. Were the exact opposite with this core.Leafs were the better team on the night in the end.
But they didn't match the energy in the 1st.
No way they put Sandin in game 6... he’s been the 1 “weak” spot on the leafs defense
kinda sucks he was 1 of the players I was excited to see playing, being a leaf fan for then post season
Possibly fair, but we can't put this on the officials.Well, the other issue with that line right now... Why is it Hyman and Matthews are frequently down on the ice before any kind of play is made at all? I could have sworn knocking a guy down without the puck was interference. Guess not.
As a Leafs fan since the Gilmour days, I always assumed every NHL series went to 7 games. If there is one thing about the Leafs I've learned throughout the years, it's that they never make it easyTrue true.
I am disappointed too but I think it is always a Toronto sports team thing to lose the first game of the series and lose the 5th game when they are up 3-1. Just look at the raptors against the Warriors.
Sandin is done for the playoffs with the crap performance he put up tonight unless there's injuries. No way they put Sandin in game 6... he’s been the 1 “weak” spot on the leafs defense

Bold prediction: Foligno won't play on Saturday. Or Game 7.
Lol… I’m trying to be optimistic. I’ve had more of my share of this…Oh to be young![]()
We're due... right?0/6 in series clinching games since 2004 and still counting.
Hope Foligno can play next game
He might have PLENTY of time to rest.At least this gives Tavares more time to rest
