Can't believe Jonny Burns didn't make that list

He was decent for the most part here. Sure he allowed some weird goals, but the numbers were respectable in the end

Having O'Reilly do the damage, angers me. I wanted to goon him so bad. He was the only player in exit interviews that would not commit to remaining with the team.

So getting lit up by him feels extremely personal, regardless of the sound clips of him praising our squad, I just think all that talk is just Vaseline before the violation.

I wish guys that pull that crap would be marked and shown extra attention, even if that means some bench clearing. Just don't like my heart toyed with.

It’s all Bieber’s fault as the jerseys s.ck. Tampa design, nothing original.
If you wanna get right down to the bottom of it you can blame Matthews for inviting him into the room, it's been great for his career though, apparently the clothing line e actually makes money and pulls down about 250k for him every month. It's a nice paycheque he gets to put on the pile, I wonder if he had to piece off the Leafs for all the free advertising now and into the future

Keefe you’re a f***ing pos. I cannot stand this moron any more

Let’s start Kampf in OT. f***ing brilliant. Cost us the game

Samsonov is a pile of shit. Let Woll for 4-5 straight now

Brodie is a train wreck.

Get Reaves in the press box.

Pulled what crap? He was a rental, he owed the Leafs nothing. You sound worse than Isles fans with Tavares

I don’t want Keefe fired. The effort was there through the entire road trip and the team is obviously buying in. I’m liking this team. Grabbing a point in Nashville sounds good to me, lots of of elite players including the guy everyone wanted back and scored against us.

Leafs were the much better team, other than in OT (where we admittedly sucked). Saros stood on his head, was amazing, that’s a 4-5 goal night on most goalies.

Sammy looked incredibly shaky in the 1st, falling all over himself and clearly in his own head, but then pulled it together and was average-ish for the rest of the game. Hopefully the start of him getting his game back, but Woll should still be the starter for the foreseeable future, he’s been unreal. We probably win this one in regulation with Woll, there weren’t many quality chances, I see him letting in 0-1 goals this game.

I am not saying he owed us anything. I wanted him on the roster, as did the leafs, but he had no interest in signing. That is his choice. It's also our choice to take that shit personally and step up our game to the next level, but it is not like the NHL of the 80s where rejecting a squad would make you a mortal enemy. These guys are all buddies and sometimes I think it takes away from the game.

Old time hockey seemed a lot more personal to me. I also think that our team does not take it personally enough, as in last years playoffs. The last series was brutal.

Can’t complain too much. Once again down to 5 defencemen. We hit three posts and their goalie was terrific.

Samsonov was better but that first goal cannot go in. But that’s him, even when he’s going good, he’ll allow shitty goals.

Matthews has to learn not to stay out 3-3 beyond 45 seconds. And he certainly shouldn’t be trying anything fancy when he’s standing still and tired.

Marner and Matthews have to simplify their offence. Marner trying for the highlight reel pass and Matthews passing when he’s got a clear shot at the net.

Good road trip that could have been great with a little intelligence.

I thought Samsonov looked terrible. He was beaten on many shots that fortunately missed the net, out of position a ton. In OT, he was beat twice - the Nashville player just missed the open net on the first shot after Samsonov chased him out of position and got beat without even attempting to poke-check. The second shot is a shot the goalie has to stop - no screen from behind the faceoff dot - not even a particularly hard shot. Not to mention the RoR goal where he whiffed on the shot but Samsonov was playing dodgeball with his pads in the air for some reason.

Do you hate damn near every player in the league then?

If he makes that play, he’s off to the races for the game winner.

If he doesn’t, he’s depending on the goalie to do his job.
Yep exactly, we got the point against Saros while we were forced to play the worst goalie that's ever played in the world..... and the most bone headed winger in the whole wide league inventing new and exclusive turnovers.

Best part about this game, and it is important, is that Matthews and Marner each had less than 22 minutes of ice time. They can't be playing 25 minutes every game.

Offense didn't do enough, but Samsonov is just plain awful.

That OT goal, beaten clean from the outside with no screen on a mediocre shot...atrocious

We may need to be in the market come deadline time at this rate.

Anyways, we outplayed a bad team and lost, time to move on.

Didnt seem like we had the puck a lot in OT.
just the few seconds AM had it near the bench.

From my vantage point he was going unimpeded right down broadway and sniped the top corner
