just the few seconds AM had it near the bench.

From my vantage point he was going unimpeded right down broadway and sniped the top corner

That's impressive. I guess you think .875 SV%'s and shots from 30 feet out unscreened are acceptable in this league for a supposed starting goaltender.

Me? I think it's f***ing trash. I made money on this game fading the Leafs soley because that turd was in goal, and he let in a stinker to seal it.

First goal was even worse.

Samsonov was ok tonight. On most nights, two goals allowed will get you the win.

I suppose one could micro-bitch about this and that tonight but the big picture bottom line is we picked up 7 out of 10 on the road; not a coach in hockey wouldn't take that.

Do you hate damn near every player in the league then?
No, just him, as he was the only leaf that flat out said he would not consider coming back to the team during the exit interviews. I wish he kept his mouth shut, or just flat out lied, as that shit offends me as a fan.

I sure as hell did not cheer for him as a rental. Maybe I should have.

See I don't blame him at all. Guys a cup champion. He'd know better than anyone there's no hope with this core.

I don’t want Keefe fired. The effort was there through the entire road trip and the team is obviously buying in. I’m liking this team. Grabbing a point in Nashville sounds good to me, lots of of elite players including the guy everyone wanted back and scored against us.

Nashville is a piece of shit team though.

Then why did he go to a a turd of a team that won't qualify for the playoffs this year?

I'm sure playing for a respectable leader like Trotz had something to do with it. Nashville is one helluva city too

Or maybe he just wanted to cash out, either way if your goal is to win a championship that isn't the team to sign with.

Apparently his older brother who played a couple of years there told him to make a move there.

He was also a former Toronto Marlie, interestingly.
Yea there's a huge difference between places like Colorado/St. Louis where he played most of his career, and Toronto/Buffalo where he was happy to leave. Nashville is a lot close to the former

So you do understand my point? Players of his ilk play for the cup. His rejection, basically was like a finger to our core players. Hence, I wish they took it as personally as I did. A guy that rejects the team the way O'Riley did should have been marked and his words should be taken like salt rubbed into wounds.

If that's all he was concerned with he would've got more money than that

You're completely and totally deflecting from the original conversation which was that O'Reilly didn't want to play for a core who were incapable of contending.
