Saying that, ummm … you really wanna roll the dice on this Leafs team making it a good evening? After the way they played for their captain when he went back to Long Island I wouldn’t get my hopes too high

Matthews and Marner have a combined 1 point in 9 games played. If I was the Canes, I might be just a little bit nervous about that.

Waffles, salute gate, the Zamboni driver beating them, I've been to 7-1 beat down against Boston ... I have many regular season embarrassments but yeah, that JT return to long island is up there

At the moment, sort of. At least he brings something different... honestly I think he'll have his moments, idk how many.

I agree you regarding Spezza but it is underutilizing him offensively. If he were in that kind of role I'd think he'd be RW to Kampf where they split the draws left & right... then maybe he gets some shifts up the lineup in the O-zone while somebody placeholds for him the odd shift on his main Kampf line.

I mean Spezza is a beast he's capable of a lot, it's too bad his minutes have to be limited.

Wouldn't surprise me and I was an Andy fan for the most part but these guys "should" know how to pick him apart.

Eventually they'll need to start getting some goals.
 
I still don’t know what the Canes were thinking by getting rid of their goalies and signing that sieve. Unless they’ve got one in the minors they have no chance at playoff success.
