Canes have shown they take enjoyment out of beating up on the Habs and us ... this would be a tough game if the team was playing well, with the team playing like complete dog crap I expect us to get absolutely whipped tonight

Matty needs to lose 10 pounds before he will start producing .. give him another 5-10 games and he should be ok
 
I think the Leafs win this one, at some point their shooting percentage luck has to turn. That said, I still do not think highly of them.

Stop it, the Leafs can skate with any team save for Colorado. That is not their problem.

Let's see if these Canes play to win for Freddie, unlike how we played for JT on his return to the Island. I'm betting they take no prisoners.
 
Hope the new look 4th line can at least bring energy through nasty play. Simmonds & Ritchie have to play mean for this 4th line to work. Otherwise, it should be pulled apart early

If they don't bring the effort, their skill won't be enough. I'm thinking the Canes will be hungry to win this one for Freddie and it will be over quickly if Leafs fail to start on time.

Canes do not have Leafs skill .. but they are a much faster overall team .. positioning and strategy can only do so much

Honest question, when is the last game they actually started on time? Seems like the first 5-10 minutes are always getting up to speed while the other team controls the play

Sullivan's one of the very best coaches in the league. They have a group that's bought in & are they're good at developing their AHL callups.

Over the years they've oddly done really well whenever their stars have been out, kinda weird.
