Yes if you lose every single race to every single puck all night long end result is Pens game .. but bottom line Leafs are not fast enough as a team to win puck races and Canes are one of fastest clubs in league .. it is not about getting outworked it is about getting out skated

But they are well coached and their skilled players are pretty good.

Truth is Mitch needs to lose 20 pounds and Matty 10 pounds ASAP .. but it can't happen that fast .. it is a complete embarrassment that 2 star players are in this condition .. da stars are running/ruining da team .. neither are anything close to captain material .. clearly neither gives 2 sh*ts about this team

Keefe blows my mind sometimes. Why would you mess with the fourth line, it’s been great. You throw Ritchie on there and move Engvall? Leave the fourth alone and put him on the third.

My guess is they wanted a defensive 3rd line that still had skating ability. Engvall brings that.

Ritchie is slower and does not bring defense. The 4th line will either be really good, if they can physically exert themselves, or will be really bad, because they will get outskated.

I feel like the play should have been putting Marner on the 3rd line with Kampf and Kerfoot, and keeping Ritchie with Tavares and Kase. But it seems like Keefe is going to do everything to let Marner figure his game out, even though he has not returned the favour at all.

4th line has been great, seems weird to change it but with that 3rd line almost primarily taking d-zone draws, do you really want Ritchie there??

You could put him on the 2nd (in Kerfoot's spot), slide Kerfoot to the 3rd & Engvall to the fourth... Ritchie hasn't really been good enough to be in the top 6 though so it's all pretty tough to decide IMO

I would have put Ritchie on line #3 but I guess Keefe is sending him a louder and clearer message by putting him on line #4. Perhaps the pressbox is next.
