FIRE DON SWEENEY INTO THE SUN
I'd stay away from Deebo personally.
Hasn't been the same player for 4 years now. SF absolutely ran him into the ground.

Considering what the Pats have at WR I’d definitely take him for short term, and they should have plenty of money to blow.I'd stay away from Deebo personally.

Not Calvin Ridley.
According to reports, the Patriots made a very competitive offer to Ridley -- roughly $22 million per year -- that ultimately fell short to the Titans' $23 million-per-year offer.
Hell ya
That’s before factoring in tax rates too (not that they don’t have great accountants who find all the loopholes)He absolutely did.

Kraft gives odd answer on why Calvin Ridley didn't sign with Patriots
Patriots owner Robert Kraft suggested Calvin Ridley's personal situation played a big factor in him choosing the Titans over New England in free agency.sports.yahoo.com
It makes sense but always crazy how the QBs rise to the top regardless if they’re worth it or not. That was always going to happen because it almost always does nowadays, and that's why winning the last game was a f***ing nightmare.

Yeah would have been nice to trade that pick. Who would you want at 4 if Sanders, Carter and Ward go in the first 3? Or trade back? You can't win without one, so teams will take wild swings. I think it's dumb unless you genuinely believe in the player, but I was counting on that when I thought the Pats would be able to sell the #1 pick for a bounty.
sigh

He’s not going til later rounds but I saw like a 10 second highlight clip of Isaiah Bond and him doing the Bond celebration after a TD. Kinda electric I can’t lie.
Yeah it’s boring and I used to get annoyed when Bill always did it but could make a lot of sense here.I don't have a particular preference because I haven't spent much time on this draft class yet, but they have sooooooo many holes I think trading back is probably the better overall strategy.

Kraft says he would have made it up and at least be even. Will be interesting to see the FA that have a choice where to go feelings about New EnglandHe absolutely did.

Thank you!Kraft was just trying to fight the optics that he's cheap. The income tax thing is just another excuse. California, Minnesota, New Jersey, and New York are all higher. That's 7 teams with worse tax situations for high earners than Massachusetts. That's almost a quarter of the league. Not that that even matters, as @CDJ said, since they all have accountants to minimize their tax liability.
Sure I get it, but he also can't stay healthy, hasn't been an effective player in 2+ years, would be treated as WR1 here, which is is not, and to top it all off....wants a new deal.Considering what the Pats have at WR I’d definitely take him for short term, and they should have plenty of money to blow.
Wouldn’t get too picky personally.
Yup stay awaypaper mache player
Wait? If Hunter is there at 4 you gotta takeI wonder if someone takes Sanders in front of them if they can then get a ransom for 4 if Hunter is there.
Imagine the marketing opportunities for the franchise. The excitement for the fan base.
Yeah fair I think I just rather them take a risk on someone like that than do nothing at all and just hold on to the money.Sure I get it, but he also can't stay healthy, hasn't been an effective player in 2+ years, would be treated as WR1 here, which is is not, and to top it all off....wants a new deal.
I'd have LOVED Deebo if they drafted him (or Brown) when they should've, but alas, there's too much tread on those tires.
I could name I bet 75 guys easy (retirement has its advantages and a daily walk trail listening to Draft podcasts season)I don't have a particular preference because I haven't spent much time on this draft class yet, but they have sooooooo many holes I think trading back is probably the better overall strategy.
Yah, they kind of did him wrong. He was complaining about being used in a dual RB/WR role from the get-go and he was right. They shortened his career.I'd stay away from Deebo personally.
