I'd stay away from Deebo personally.

Hasn't been the same player for 4 years now. SF absolutely ran him into the ground.
Considering what the Pats have at WR I’d definitely take him for short term, and they should have plenty of money to blow.

Wouldn’t get too picky personally.

Not Calvin Ridley.

He absolutely did.

According to reports, the Patriots made a very competitive offer to Ridley -- roughly $22 million per year -- that ultimately fell short to the Titans' $23 million-per-year offer.

It makes sense but always crazy how the QBs rise to the top regardless if they’re worth it or not.

You can't win without one, so teams will take wild swings. I think it's dumb unless you genuinely believe in the player, but I was counting on that when I thought the Pats would be able to sell the #1 pick for a bounty.

sigh

Yeah would have been nice to trade that pick. Who would you want at 4 if Sanders, Carter and Ward go in the first 3? Or trade back?

He’s not going til later rounds but I saw like a 10 second highlight clip of Isaiah Bond and him doing the Bond celebration after a TD. Kinda electric I can’t lie.

I don't have a particular preference because I haven't spent much time on this draft class yet, but they have sooooooo many holes I think trading back is probably the better overall strategy.

Yeah it’s boring and I used to get annoyed when Bill always did it but could make a lot of sense here.

Kraft says he would have made it up and at least be even. Will be interesting to see the FA that have a choice where to go feelings about New England

Kraft was just trying to fight the optics that he's cheap. The income tax thing is just another excuse. California, Minnesota, New Jersey, and New York are all higher. That's 7 teams with worse tax situations for high earners than Massachusetts. That's almost a quarter of the league. Not that that even matters, as @CDJ said, since they all have accountants to minimize their tax liability.

Thank you!

Sure I get it, but he also can't stay healthy, hasn't been an effective player in 2+ years, would be treated as WR1 here, which is is not, and to top it all off....wants a new deal.

I'd have LOVED Deebo if they drafted him (or Brown) when they should've, but alas, there's too much tread on those tires.

A new man of mystery?

In New England, John “Stretch” Streicher has been given the title “VP of Football Operations and Strategy.” A coveted in-game strategist — Sean McVay said Streicher’s departure broke his heart — he’s naturally drawn comparisons to Ernie Adams.

The reality isn’t that simple.

His roles will vary depending on the day, and to use members of Patriots past, Streicher will really be a hybrid between Adams, Nick Caserio, and Berj Najarian. He’s a trusted advisor who will be involved in just about everything.

“Better sense of humor than Ernie Adams,” Mike Vrabel joked.

paper mache player
Yup stay away

Mike do you agree with me Brady probably tampers and doing all sorts of shady shit to recruit talent to Vegas

I wonder if someone takes Sanders in front of them if they can then get a ransom for 4 if Hunter is there.

Imagine the marketing opportunities for the franchise. The excitement for the fan base.
Wait? If Hunter is there at 4 you gotta take

Field Yates thinks QBs will still be 2 out of the top3 picks especially with Stafford off the market. I would take Hunter but a case could be made for getting a ransom and loading up on the OL/DL with the extra picks

Yeah fair I think I just rather them take a risk on someone like that than do nothing at all and just hold on to the money.

I could name I bet 75 guys easy (retirement has its advantages and a daily walk trail listening to Draft podcasts season)

A. I want a killer attacking front 7 or a beast T ….but Hunter there I’m taking

If not and I could move back a few and get TE Tyler Warren I do

B. If Hunter & Carter gone I take Campbell or Graham

Unless I can move back a few spots and get Warren

I’m coming away with Hunter, Campbell, Graham, or Warren
