Leafs are losing young fans per capita. The fact they arent winning even after winning the lottery 3 times over + the JT sweepstakes gets you comments from kids like.. Who cares about those losers, its 2023 i can watch and follow whatever team I want. Its not like kids here in Toronto can just go get tickets as teens like we could for the Jays or other sports.
Mandatory Leaf love is dying a death like GM when they thought they ruled the world for cars. They probably should make more considerations going forward and fix things. They have lame duck tv coverage care as it is and all this other crap is adding up.
Maybe a more youthful goal song is in order.

I personally like Hall and Oates. When they first changed it like everyone else I was like wtf is this? But it has grown on me and makes me smile when I randomly hear it on the radio etc
Having said that they can change it if they desire not going to ruin my day either way.

Yeah that’s the only issue, but majority of goals should be clear. Not a big deal if they play someone else’s song once in a while, plus that player would be involved in the goal scored too.
Adds some character to the game.

I have a bigger issue with Sportsnet muting the crowd sounds after a goal so that we can all hear Craig Simpson tell us what we just saw, after a goal.
I've never even noticed the goal song at the games I've been to. I do tend to notice the goal horn.
