Jarnkrok was solid in the regular season with career highs but he lived up to his playoff reputation of no-showing. Unfortunately, Dubas has a history of living thosw types.

Tavares sucks for a superstar pay player but Orr never put up 0.5ppg in any tracked league he played in (CHL, ahL, ECHL, and NHL obviously)

Playing him beyond 3 mins resulted in your team getting f***ed.

He was a great fighter but a poor hockey player and at 3M you have an unplayable player wasting 3M

Tavares is overpaid by 3M but his 70-80 pts at least look nice and help the team in the reg season

I think he will get at least 3 million. But you may be right. Even still, if we can have him for 1.5 I don't see why we don't just take somebody else at that price just for the sake of change and to shake things up. Why be attached to an unrestricted free agent who can go anywhere he wants and when we can sign anyone we want to replace him?

i hope we have come to realize we are greedy little f***ers as Toronto fans and don’t have the patience for a rebuild and learned our lesson and never plead Rogers for a rebuild again. We will start going goo goo gaa gaa at the possibility of signing some declining former star to an 8 year contract the moment we have a few high caliber prospects and rather than wait and grow try to go for it right from the get go instead of stick to the plan thus creating a feeling in the air of greed that management will succumb to and go for it way too early.

People complained incessantly about the rebuild model and wanting to “do it right” and were threatening switching service providers wanting a rebuild. And yet when we signed JT or traded for Boyle at the deadline or didn’t trade jvr and bozak on expiring contracts no one had an issue.

This city does not deserve a rebuild. Nor can it handle one. Hence we will probably be stuck in mediocrity

We've had the team in the past that got away with the stuff. Bunting sticks out like a sore thumb because he's alone on an island doing those things by himself. Bennett is one of a bunch of guys who does it on his team, it's like it gets watered down on some teams.
