I find the majority of these single frames (Read: pictures) are out of context. They just scored to win the series so of course the guy is going to be wired/excited. I'm not so sure Gudas is actually staring Woll down and rubbing it in his face. It's likely just a snapshot taken at the right moment.

Tavares sucks for a superstar pay player but Orr never put up 0.5ppg in any tracked league he played in (CHL, ahL, ECHL, and NHL obviously)

Playing him beyond 3 mins resulted in your team getting f***ed.

He was a great fighter but a poor hockey player and at 3M you have an unplayable player wasting 3M

Tavares is overpaid by 3M but his 70-80 pts at least look nice and help the team in the reg season

if you have colton for 3m and only put him on the ice to kick bennett’s ass you might have a healthy knies. Overpaid by 2 million. In the playoffs JT has made it abundantly clear he’s most of the time a bottom 6 forward worth 5 million at most. Overpaid by 6 million.

Even having Colton at 3 million and benching him the whole game puts the team in a better position cap wise. I don’t think making the playoffs is the hard part for this team bruv

We've had the team in the past that got away with the stuff. Bunting sticks out like a sore thumb because he's alone on an island doing those things by himself. Bennett is one of a bunch of guys who does it on his team, it's like it gets watered down on some teams.

when i watched it live i immediately noticed it and it pissed me off and I’m not even the one playing. But you could be right. Feels like this team has adapted the identity of its captain and patty marleau has left his imprint.

This team is not balanced, a team is built from goaltending out, not forwards back. Unfortunately most offense starts with good defence, and this team doesn’t have the solid core D needed for a championship run. Doubt goaltending was a big issue here, biggest weakness is not having 4 top D, i see only 2, Reilly and Brodie and when Brodie isn’t on his game there is no one else. Need to move some cap on D side, which of the 4 need to go??

The Leafs were "goalied" by Bobrovsky but never even bothered to crease crash, slash a stick out of his hand, pile up on him on a scrum or do anything to make him the least bit uncomfortable. Disgusting, basic effort.

I still can't get over the goal that was ruled no goal. All the non penalties when there was clearly charging etc. It's pretty much unwatchable when you add in Marner doing nothing but sabotaging your team and Matthews mailing it in.

How has taking the higher road and playing straight up, avoiding confrontation, etc. worked out for the Leafs over the last however many years.

They're all suspendable plays. The trouble is they dont seem to go both ways.

Its like the Clifford hit last year. Its not a good one, but its not worse than the Gudas board on Kampf or a few Maroon hits. Kadri's cross check on Debrusk looks awful, but not all thay different than Bennet's or the brutal non suspensiom on Edmunson to Simmonds
