Shanahan, Dubas and Keefe out please. They've had their chance. The "Shanaplan" has failed. Time to move on.

Hire some really good hockey people. Preferably ex-Leafs that love this team. Let them go to work on this. We have some very good assets that can be exchanged for players that are a better fit here.
The shanaplan is a perfectly good plan, it just wasn't executed properly in the end.

I mean isn't the plan simply to bottom out at the right time and get a few high picks, draft properly and build around them?

I mean we just gutted future for this year and it turned out to be a joke. I don't care if I have to watch the worst team on paper competing out there. Phaneuf was a better leader than Tavares. Tavares is f***ing nothing, I'm pretty sure Colton Orr was better than this mother f***er.

I think you need to move on from Marner. We need more toughness and grit in the top 6. Florida exchanged Hub cap for Ratchuk and they are in the ECF. Despite having a down regular season.
They were the President Cup Winner last season.
Think the guys just learnt how to play in the playoffs and improved on that.
The difference between playoffs and regulation is that you have to be clutch when you have the chance. Our boys were more clutch against TB and Panthers were more clutch against us.
AM and JT got some really good looks in front of the net but they didn’t convert.

FWIW Tavares score the gaol that won the Leafs' their first series in nearly 20 years.

I would honestly rather have colton orr at 3 million over Tavares at 11

But what is the right price? He is not better than any of the bargain basement players dubas finds every summer. The only problem with him, comparatively, is that he makes over double what those kinds of players make.

You could've put a figure skater in his place and it wouldn't have made much of a difference. No real use for him or Jarnkrok

Under 1.5M

Refuse to watch any more NHL hockey for the rest of the year. Let them enjoy their conference finals of Vegas, Dallas, Florida, and Carolina. Will be the worst ratings they’ve ever had.

Protesting this shit league between the referees, DPOS, and Bettman’s leadership. Things need to change because it’s the best sport in the world but the worst league by far.

bunch of wusses on this f***ing club not ony they let bennet injure knies they let this piece of trash do this crap to woll

Play that stood out to me. Tavares gets rocked by the guy who has been running our guys all series. Not one guy made him pay for it. Tonight or all series. For a team that loves each other that is sad.

I'm not saying he isn't above criticism .. but saying he's worse of a leader than Colton Orr is well.. meh.
leadership is more than puck skills my friend. How can the team be motivated with such a lackadaisical captain? On NYI he had some big boys who did the heavy lifting and formed the identity of the team.

That was one part of the plan.

Do we need to talk about the part where Shanahan handed the keys to a rookie GM when we were on the cusp of being a very good team for a very long time?

Critical error.

Time for the entire crew to go.
