Not at all. Hes not a smart player and hes slow. Pretty hard to throw checks when you cant skate. Hes suited for a cycle game, not with speedy skilled forwards. He is soft....

We got our 1st and 2nd. No 3rd or 4th.We have a first round pick this season or it's gone?
If his hair wasn't all falling out he'd probably have a top-knotIt's certainly a bold fashion choice
Many of us knew Dubas was. Shanny abandoned his plan set with purebreds to gamble on a shiny set of keys. Insanity. It's becoming more and more evident with each passing game that Babcock wasn't the problem.
I know that alot of you don't want to hear that, but it's a fact.
Ritchie cant skate
MM need a puck retriever like Hyman
try Bunting in that spot
he went in the corner on the forecheck, and did not even use his body to try to get the puck... soft! Not at all. Hes not a smart player and hes slow. Pretty hard to throw checks when you cant skate. Hes suited for a cycle game, not with speedy skilled forwards.
What's the problem? Fits in like a glove. In the Dubas mould. He’s brutal on the forecheck. Zero jam, no heart, he’s just a body in front of the net. Get him off the first line.
Simmonds and Spezza are the only guys playing.
Would he though? We are somehow making Marner, Matthews and JT look pedestrian on this team. Why would MaCann be any different?McCann would be a much better look on the Leafs
This team is always rattled when there's pressure on themWe have a game down by two where our goalie let in two weak goals. It’s rattled the team. This team is not getting “blown up”
Bullshit narrative. They aren't mentally weak. There's just too much pressure in Toronto, most players would have a hard time mentally in this environment. In order to succeed in Toronto the players have to be underdogs with nothing to lose and a desire to prove themselves - that's kind of what we were when the big 3 were on their ELCs. The fame and scrutiny and pressure that comes with a big contract in Toronto would probably be hard for 99% of players. There aren't many people like Doug Gilmour who can handle that.
This doesn't work. Other big market teams in the other sports perform. They aren't mentally weak.
