Not even Mirtle can get this right.

In the article it says.

Raddysh’s extension will carry an average annual value of $8.5 million a season, a league source said. The contract includes a full no-trade clause for the first six years and a 16-team no-trade clause for the last two years.

I'm not sure this is a good signing. I know it cost us only a 5th but the guys had only one very good season. The way Tampa is managed you'd think they'd sign him if they thought he could keep it up.

I like it even less with a full NMC for the first 6 years and 16-team no-trade clause for the final two years

I’m good with that. Ideally you’d like to have some flexibility earlier but I don’t think it’s gonna be an issue.
I’m not worried about NMC at this point if it’s a retool. It either works and good for us, or the whole things goes in the toilet forcing a rebuild and guys will ask to move.

What's "wrong" with what he's saying?

Not trying to be a dick here but what do some of you guys (people) see in this guy?

I see another problem signing, big time.

I honestly hope I'm wrong.

Don’t worry pal

U will feel a lot better when u see what that bum Logan Stanley signs for haha

This has been our PP playoff numbers since 2020

45 games played
17% playoffs , 24% regular season

Two other top regular season PP performers in EDM and COL during that stretch

EDM
85 games played
29% playoffs, 27.9% regular season

COL
68 games played
28.4% playoffs, 22.9% regular season

Quality of competition matters forsure but our PP has really let us down come postseason time and hopefully Raddysh can help improve it.

We still need another piece I'm seeing WAY to many people putting Tanev in the top 4.

I hope he can do it but I'm not convinced of that his injury issues were serious.

We need to get 1 more legitimate D man,

NMC is a non demotable NTC, no? I expect it's full NMC (includes NTC) then shuffles to the 16 team tradeable list
Exactly.

With a NMC, you don’t need a NTC, it’s inclusive. Now you can reduce the power of a NMC, by adding on the 16 Team NTC at the end.

My bigger issue is Mirtle calls it a NMC in the title, then calls it a NTC in the article and doesn’t understand where the error is.

Ryan Shea would be a good add. Can play left or right side, and just help shore things up wherever needed.

If Tanev is struggling or injured, you put him on the right side in the top 4.

If Tanev is solid, Shea and OEL can battle each other for the top 4 LHD spot after McCabe.

We have options on the right now. The left side is questionable

He was a pending UFA so they could only sign him if he wanted to sign with them. And while I think his preference was to sign in Toronto, I also think that he recognized that real opportunities for him in Tampa only existed if Hedman was not fully healthy.

In 2024/25 he was 6th amongst NHL D in P/60 at 5v5. Yet, started out last season averaging 14:09 a game with 3 points, and almost no PP time, until Hedman first went down with an injury 15 games in.

They surely need a strong right side to account for Tanev's injury history, but if Tanev's healthy he has to be in the top 4 playing matchup minutes. Which is probably why they keep Carlo.

Decent .. these things are standard now unfortunately.. but the last two years make moving him easier

Raddysh is a luxury for Tampa since they already have Hedman, McDonagh, Moser and Cernak all signed. If you look at their lineup, they need scoring.
