It's so bizarre the old moo-cow slab'o'beef in the back end is the one standing up for his teammates all the time.
They're better of with him on the ice than the 6'2" pile of stink Reaves was every night. I didn't even know they could pile shit that high. Seeing Giordano step up like that is what real leadership looks like.
Not whatever Tavares was doing on the bench when Liljegren got hurt.
Fifteen games into the season and Kampf has more goals than Domi. Put your hand up if you saw that one coming. Robertson has two goals already in only four games played.

I'm not convinced he makes it out of the season alive. I'm not sure what the problem is. Lack of on ice awareness, can't skate with his head up, I don't know.

Team played very well against a very good opponent. The 4th line looked so, SO much better without Reaves. And strangely, the team played tougher without him too. Overall a very good game.
I don’t think Domi will finish the season with less goals than Kampf but he has never really been a goal scorer.
He does have a couple 20 goal seasons when he was getting top line minutes which he was never going to get here. But overall he has finished as many seasons with a single digit number of goals as he has with a double digit goal total.

For someone who is supposedly known as a one dimensional offensive player he doesn't really bring a lot of anything offensive.
Other than the fact I'm offended he makes $3M to not score any goals.
He is a flawed player, that’s why he has bounced around so much. If he wasn’t such a flawed player we wouldn’t have been able to sign him to a 1 year deal on the second day of free agency for 3M.
Overall he had a good game tonight I don’t know what else you expected.
I definitely don’t think he is an ideal player at all. But he isn’t nearly the biggest problem right now.
So weird how we won a game with Klingberg playing.

Great game for the Buds! Seemed like they had no gas in the first, but with fights from Gio and Domi to defend teammates after hits it was clear they had some life in them. Big win on a back to back against one of the high flying teams in the league, this is something you can build on.

Maybe they had a late night and players don’t play guilty anymore. They played very slow and I doubt that was the game plan against the Leafs. Most want to play faster and take advantage.

It's awesome to see the sacrifice both Giordano and Spezza showed to this franchise at the end of their careers.
Last night felt like a game where playing a rested good team, on a back to back and going down 1-0, we could have easily rolled over and had a built in excuse but the team showed alot of fight and battled very hard.
Those are the type of character wins you need to get and shows a strong resilience.
They are shooting 16% this year and Demko has crazy stats... they are just not as good as their record shows
They will go on a cold streak at some point, this will normalize and people won't be talking like they are the best team ever

If Giordano was 5 years young you give him the 'C'.
No doubt they've started the season hot but just as I'm not going to judge the team on the first 15 games, I'm not judging them on one game either
