Hopefully last nights effort carries over today, very important game really need this one to move up in the standings.

Guess Musty used worse words then Villeneuve did 🤣

Wolves basically operating with one ohl caliber forward line today, going to be a tough task.

Plenty of distraction from this guy this season. He needed to work on his game in various areas but, that never materialized for various reasons. Waisted year of development.
Obviously hasn't grown up to what a professional needs to acts like. He simply needs does not care about the team and the messages his coaches give. Can't make it with just skill. He will never step on NHL ice with that attitude. Hope he is good in school because he reminds me of a former Wolf in Jason Bonsignore. Only difference is that Bonsignore signed and got his first million and only million in hockey. Not sure the Sharks will do the same.

Impressive first period for the Wolves considering missing like 6 regulars. They are skating well and got a few chances. Maybe they can surprise and frustrate the fish the rest of the game.

I've said it before and I'll say it again villy is the only player I see having a lengthy professional career from past few teams. That includes Goyette etc. Whether it will be NHL AHL Europe. He's just built different.

Drop you gloves, throw punches, 2 minute minor. When a wolves player has done that in the past it's resulted in a 7 minute powerplay for the other team.

True. What about the non review on a blindside hit on Henderson in Guelph last week. Have to say any game a Wolves player did anything remotely dangerous the iPads were out before the ref skated to the score keepers table. The fact they didn't review that hit tells you how incredibly brutal and inconsistent refs are in the OHL. The league should be ashamed of themselves for not penalizing the Guelph player for that hit that has concussed Henderson.

You would think that before deciding to go all in you would consider your depth chart, in the event of injuries do we have the experience to hold the fort. Can 5 rookies and affiliate players still be competitive in our conference. Do we sacrifice the future in the event the worst case scenario presents itself. Grant it we don't have a crystal ball . Today's game was a tough test and little in the way of judgement is warranted with the way they played. I really feel for the team having been put in this situation.

Not many games left but the push to get the Wolves into the draft lottery is impressive.
The odds of getting Chitaroni's brother in the draft early on in the season was a pipe dream. But it's now looking like a very strong possibility.

As for the draft Wolves need to take two highly skilled forwards with the first two picks. Their third pick comes in the second round and they need to grab the best goalie possible unless they sign one or two of their previous drafted goalies. They need to draft the biggest and meanest d-man with the third pick otherwise.

I really hope next season our two Slovak imports report. Add in the top two forwards picked and our returning crop including Doucet. Hope he is progressing well.

Walton Villy Pharand (OA)
Nemac Chovan 2nd rd pick
Doucet Chitaroni Chitaroni
Henderson Clayton Coughlan (OA)
Dean Booth Walker

O'Dell Mews
Smith Ewles (OA)
Wreggitt Blonda
Kearns Bruce

Marshall
Beites
Bronas
Rheaume

Trade Roberts, and whatever other extra's for as many picks regardless where they fall. Start building the draft cupboard back. Send out Mews, Walton and Villy at the deadline and recoup high picks and a couple of 17-18 studs.

The team has sucked with a full lineup as well. Injuries/suspensions have nothing to do with it.

Seems like this was the suspension, Musty eats an elbow to the head and then has the audacity to tell one of the OHLs many incredible competent refs that he f***ing sucks.

The video from generals update is edited. Musty went back after the penalties were called to pick his players stick. He roughed it up by Hooey and the ref gave Musty a misconduct for basically nothing as Hooey was the one who instigated him. Musty started to mouth off cause he was the only one to get the 10. The video with Leonard hitting him had nothing to do with Musty mouthing off the ref. This was well after the scrum.

I’m not sure what we saw pre -deadline was “going all in”. I thought we added depth and value (18yr old Mews NHL Drafted player) as a reward and recognition for a great first half. Yes a young prospect going out with many picks but we got value back that hopefully can be sold next season.
Now: Just gotta get healthy..
