Eichel has 70 pts in 40 games, 1.75 points per game.

Fantilli has 63 in 34, 1.85 points per game.

Noone is forgetting about Eichel, Fantilli has just been amazing.
Fantilli might have better points/game but he also plays with better players than Eichel did so it is not that simple to compare them.

I think he is too small and frail to ever be an elite player in the NHL.

Reminds me of Marc Andre Bergeron
How does he differ from Spurgeon size wise? He just need to work on acceleration and legs and he propably will be fine.

Terriers vs. the Gophers, doesn't get much more bluebloodier than that.

Hutson is too small to be good in the nhl
When he is in his prime, NHL will be even less physical than it is today. Hell, if most of NHL media get what they want, hits on the boards will be banned when Hutson is in his late 20s/early 30s, so he will have zero trouble converting college play to the NHL level.

Difference of opinion = trolling.

This site has been really bad with the personal attacks lately.

Hutson is too small to be good in the nhl, he will get exposed shift in and out against NHL players and will need to be sheltered because he cant play defence.
You label your own account "Parody" and act surprised someone thinks your aggressive take might be trolling? :thumbu:

Difference of opinion is fine, comparing him to a guy that had half his talent and still played almost 500 NHL games and then trying to use that as your support/reasoning for basically saying he’ll never make it in the league because he’s frail like the guy that played 500 NHL games is either laughable logic or a troll.

Nobody here thinks he’s gonna enter the NHL and be Cale Makar. But that doesn’t mean he can’t have a nice long career as a pp specialist and 2nd or 3rd pair at 5v5 type.

That guy starts a thread to trade Pinto for a RHD stating he's underwhelming, then the next day he starts a poll to determine who's superior between Pinto and Suzuki.

100% troll. Just ignore him.

LOL
Arrogance.

"I can be as good as the best defenceman in the NHL"
Goals and expectations. Must have in order to become successful. Better than him believing that he’s only going to be 2nd pair at peak. I like it.

I can't wait to see what he becomes. Nobody here can say ANYTHING bad about the progress he has made since his draft year... It has been outstanding.

Now we just sit back and wait and see what happens with him. I would assume he will go back to NCAA atleast for another season or 2 to get stronger and more mature before he signs in the NHL.

Now we just wait patiently for when he decides to go pro... Whether people can admit it or not, he has become a high end prospect for the Habs that could potentially become something unreal.... So now we wonder, will he become a Quinn Hughes type offensive stud in pros OR will he become a Joey Laleggia type offensive dud in the pros.

Calling Hutson so "frail" he's like MAB is like calling a player so small he's like Mario Lemieux. MAB had many traits that made him not super desirable, and "frail" is definitey not one of them. The guy was stocky.

One of the big things MAB had that Hutson doesn’t have, and I doubt he ever will is that massive shot from the point.
