Where does he go in a redraft of 2018 ?

Players I’d take in front of Miller: Dahlin, Svechnikov, Kotkaniemi, Tkachuk, Zadina, Hughes, Boqvist, Kravtsov, Bouchard, Dobson, Farabee, Lundkvist, Berggren, Romanov.

So... 15th!

i dont know if he'll produce as much, but the way they've been talking about in camp i'm starting to think he could become a brent burns type dman ... long ways from it ... but the skillset and how fast he's gotten to this point makes it reasonable to consider

Honestly, I’m very happy to hear about how well he’s playing in camp, but I need to see it in action. I watched him a lot at Wisconsin and during the WJC. He clearly has the tools and off the charts athleticism, but I thought he would need a heavy amount of AHL time to think the game better before making an impact at the NHL...hopefully the org saw the progress and he’s ready.

I can't say I've watched him a ton but it seems like his instincts in closing off players on the rush and in the neutral zone are quite good, but he has struggled some defensively when it comes to where to be positionally and how to deal with defending without the puck in his own zone. So it'll be interesting to see how it goes at the NHL level

In the future, coaches will start getting player to practice "How not to play like Brady Skjei.."

This guy is not as offensive but infinitely more talented in every other area. Not to mention 20 times the skater and in much better shape. Big Buff was a fat dude.
Byfuglien was an incredible athlete. He averaged over 24 min/game for the last 9 years of his career.

You are greatly underestimating how athletic and fit Byfuglien was to be able to play so many minutes as a big guy while still being so productive offensively.

I also think you are greatly underestimating how talented Byfuglien was. He was an All-Star multiple times and finished in the top 15 for Norris multiple years and here you are already saying that Miller (with a grand total of two games played) is infinitely more talented in every other area than offensve than Byfuglien.

Byfuglien had his warts but he was wildly effective and the whole fat and out of shape stuff goes against how incredibly productive he was and how many minutes he ate while playing at a high level.

I don't think you know how good Byufglyien was. He was an extrememely talented hockey player. Miller is not " infinitely more talented ". That's ridiculous.

Wondering if he is going to be another Zadorov. A player who can play really well for short stretches but overall never seems to play at the level of his ability.
