Honestly with the roster they had he probably would have had some nights off to rest, which could have helped, dont forget this schedule had less games but some stretch were quite condensed.

Oh Im not saying hes any lesser of a talent or player because he got tired

Im simply mentioning it as to prevent people from expecting a top-4 82 game guy next year; he just jumped up from college to the NHL and did well, but got tired quickly. Jack Hughes also got very tired last year at the end, and id suspect if we had another 20+ games hed slow down in the last 10-15.

Once these young guys get used to the 82 game schedule with practicing, thats when they burst out
