Can't wait for Saturday night! First game of the season is against Bentley who play in the weakest conference in the NCAA so it should be a lot of fun for Hutson.
I just checked the schedule and it looks like I will get every single game he plays as the only one I don't get is the 1st game of the season but I was thinking about getting a month of Flo hockey to see the USNDTP. I know I will get to see them vs Hutson on Oct 14th but thought about making some vids for the draft.

espn+ they have the rights to every Hockey East and ECAC home game (Hutson/Tuch, Fowler, Croteau). There's 2 games on the Big 10 network later this month when they are at Notre Dame but I get their games on tv and have a year pass for the streams.

I am super pumped to see Hutson this year. After watching what we have in Guhle, Reinbacher and Mailloux, if Hutson continues on his Adam Fox, Quinn Hughes and Cale Makar like trajectory, we are going to be the richest team at D.
Guhle, Rein and Mailloux all project as top pair guys at this point. Hutson has a slight chance at being a Norris guy. Can't wait to see what we have in 2-3 years.

Is 60 points out of the question? BU looks a lot better this year and could be poised to go deep. If he hits 60 this year in a similar amount of games that puts him at a similar production clip to Adam Fox in his junior year. That would be a pretty special NCAA season.
Hard to say, but BU this season has a lots of offensive talent added . Hutson was depended on a lot last season for production, but he might be depended on less this year.
Depends how the coach sees it really.

Fox produced at 60pts? That seems very high and not what I’m seeing on his page.

He's gonna explode this year. Fensore started the year as the #1 LD and #1 PPQB. now that he's gone, Hutson will be THE guy. When Fensore was injured last year Hutson stepped up and took over games. Add Celebrini as a threat on the PP and I wouldn't bet against Hutson getting 60 points
Fox did 1.5ish PPG, but only played 33 games. If Hutson does 60 in 40 (which he played last year( that would be a similar PPG to fox.

56 points would put him 2nd best all time in U-20 points for blueliners in NCAA history, 8 points more then last season so it is certainly doable.
Hopefully Hutson can talk Celebrini into refusing to go anywhere but Montreal.

Hutson lack of size is overblown. He's same size as Johnny Hockey. Whose done pretty good for himself in NHL

Enormous difference playing that tiny on D as opposed to the wing......ridiculous comparison. Then consider that Gaudreau is a much better skater......

Hefty praise from a guy who fully gets what it takes to win at the highest level.
Pairing the elite level skill he has with that kind of work ethic is a recipe for elite level success.
Hutson is going to be such a fun prospect to watch come into his own!

Agree! People need to be hype with that future defensive group. I think they are all safe to project a impact NHL players, they are too talented to don't succed. I'm 100% confident that Guhle, Hutson, Mailloux and Reinbacher will reach their high potential and become solid D-man for many years to come.
I can't wait to see Lane Hutson season this year!!
