I’ve been told he has people’s comments that he disagrees with bookmarked so he can throw it in their faces later. Nothing weird about that at all.
I think when you look at it from the perspective that he’s not here to talk honestly it becomes much more easier to just ignore him and poke fun every now and then. He’s just a troll who’s never been looking for an honest discussion, only to instigate. Lying about Herby leaving because of me pretty much confirmed that for me.
Those photos of Gabe look like they can be cut together in a sentimental music montage. Feel good story of the week.
He definitely has one of those faces where his happiness is truly something you can feel when you look at the pure joy he exudes

Yeah we've noticed it for sure--the top of the Pacific can skate with anyone. The East is too busy huffing their own farts to notice so it'll just look like 2014 when someone from the west gets there

who ever can forget the rangers being better at every spot but 1C
It think while it’s true the top eastern teams have more talent, I see the western teams having a lot more cohesion. That pretty much negates the talent disparity.

I agree though I still push back because I think he’s reached bully territory and tries to shut people down by ridiculing them. I’m not cool with that at all and will call him out on it.

I have no issue with that. I do it but it gets tiring because there’s no reason for him to stop.

Gabe wears his heart on his sleeve all the time and I love it. It's also why it was so sad when he was struggling.

It's a waste of energy.

I disagree with plenty of folks here and frequently and it's never all bad.

But when someone posts literally just to antagonize in bad faith with NO productive discussion, just always opposition, it's best to just ignore and move on, especially when they're apparently doing just enough to always get away with it and get everyone else in hot water instead.

I wish I was better, but it's just very cathartic to call out the gaslighting, gatekeeping, false, BS from the select few who try to make things miserable for the rest of us, despite the best efforts from virtually everyone to try and have a genuine dialogue.

Then when people are celebrating a win, make a drive-by comment to piss people off who were actually trying to celebrate together.

Let's not even talk about when there are critiques levied against the org. Which... unless you think the Kings are perfect, there is room for improvement, so it's not like discussing these things are unreasonable.

Let's talk about this though, you can 100% critique the organization, the issue (at least for me) is when you do it in a way that suggests ONLY LA does XXXXXX.

For example @Herby has made this exact critique, when it comes to LAK and prospects etc, and he does suggest ONLY LA does it, difference is, he backs it up with actual facts,

Take that argument vs this aged one.

"OMG The Kings, they are just an old boys club, all they do is hire people they know" while yes.....there is definitely a taint of familiarity with most hires, you are being absolutely blind, or hypocritical if you can't recognize that EVERY OTHER PROFESSIONAL SPORTS TEAM....does the same thing.....so how is that a critique against just this organization etc ?

I think its best to allow less mainstream opinion to have its say.. even if what they are doing is more akin to terrorism than discussion. I do not like the modern trend toward conformity and unified thought (Im not saying that's what your advocating)... I like hockey ethics which leans towards self-policing and handle things within the group which is what I see happening most times on here.

Take it another step further. Let's be the first team to roll two lines with 5 forwards, a group with 3 forwards and two defensemen, bench Durzi and Edler the whole game and rotate three goalies (one per period). This is the new new NHL.
Play the game like an all-star game. I like it. 😃

The Kings would gladly take anything the Sens offer, draft pick wise. Most would be happy with future considerations. The Kings really need to clear some RD.
If that was true Blake would have done it already.
He pretty much has until next years deadline to get the best offers he can.
I read that unlike the Kings, the NHL has a shortage of RHD's.

You just told Herby the other day that he temporarily left the site because of Sol’s opinions (wasn’t even true) and here you are again adding nothing useful or constructive to the conversation. Just more instigating. Is life really that boring?
Quiet child, the adults are talking.
You guys should apply to be moderators instead of gang banging other posters

Perhaps, but i think he wanted to keep him as depth for the playoffs. Blake is probably remembering the Dmen injuries last year.

An offseason trade or two to clear some space and cap would make sense.

Absolutely. I commend people who put themselves out there and challenges conventional thought.

I just don't think saying "well, Todd's coach and you're not. You're not a scout. I'm bookmarking people's opinions so I can throw it in their faces later" is constructive.

There are plenty of people on this board who have expressed satisfaction with the Kings and management. Or they'll bring up a minor issue for the day, not make larger scale assessments, and it helps keep us honest. Hopefully I don't embarrass the person, but by and large, Fishhead says very little that can be considered scathing, but he engages in honest debate about things he likes and things he doesn't. He points out faulty arguments, cites evidence, doesn't throw our lack of professional scouting/coaching experience in our faces, etc.

You can go against conventional thought and the people here are actually very cool to discuss different angles and aspects. The fans here are reasonable (except after a loss and/or certain levels of intoxication).

Hopefully this encourages more people to speak up, because contrary to certain accusations, I find "groupthink" boring, especially with the depth in which hockey can be discussed.

It’s my hobby to hold people accountable for posting stupid shit. Someone needs to clean the toilets around here.

You can start by removing yourself.
Whats with people telling people here to remove themselves.
HF Boards moderators decide who gets removed not the buddy buddy club.
I like AXL's posts, especially when everyone is saying the same thing.
He offers great debates.
It seems when peoples viewpoints are invalidated by other posters, their feelings get hurt, their buddies jump in and then they cry about it until they beg you to leave.
It is NIMBYism.

This is just gaslighting. It has nothing to do with differing opinions. There’s plenty of that that goes on without things getting personal. When almost everybody is in agreement that a certain someone is mainly here to instigate and attack others, then it’s unlikely that all those people are crazy.

I didn't call anyone crazy, so its not gaslighting.
The Kings are on a great run it so weird that many seem so unhappy.
Especially those that view the management so negatively
There are people here that post a lot.
They are not everyone.
Because there are people who do not post as much, some that rarely post and even some that never post at all.
Just because you are a frequent flier does not mean you can play the role of air marshal on a flight.

You don’t need to call someone crazy for it to be gaslighting. I’ll leave it at that.

Well then telling people to leave, what to post or remove themselves must fall under your gaslighting umbrella.
You guys doing that have nothing, no excuses.
Especially when there is an ignore feature provided.
I too will use brevity here and get back to hockey.
