Give Vilardi a contract with an aav at 4.5 and the term blank. If you could pick him up at 4.5x8 you could get some serious value.

If I'm him, there's no way I'd sign a long term contract unless is 6M+.

Only way I could see him signing 8 years at 4.5M, is if he's very concerned about his health. (In that case should we want to sign him for 8 years?)

I've just realized that Vilardi, Korpisalo, and Gavrikov need new contracts, and the fact you can't buyout nor trade Petersen without retaining and using assets. How much would it cost to acquire Sean Walker for the Sens? Will probably make it so you can bridge Vilardi and sign both CBJ acquisitions.

If the Kings don't have to take back any salary, you can have him for free. A late or mid round draft pick would be awesome.

He has some upside. He was actually near the top of the league in 5v5 P60 among dmen before his injury. He just needs to be in a situation where a team can give him time. If so, he might be a pretty good player next year.

I like the guy, he’s a decent hockey player, but I like the cap space more as we got cheaper contract so I can fill that spot. I’m sure a pick of any kind would suffice.

The team is getting better, but I've never seen so many people at each other's throats calling each other stupid since I was on LGK before I switched over to HFBoards back in 2008 looking for a healthier environment. Many have come and gone, but I still think this is the best place to be for Kings discussion. It is probably asking too much that everyone have constructive arguments, but I am hoping at least that most remain civil, respectful, and non-personal.

Chalk it up to the passion? I dunno, for me, it's always about the argument itself, if it's a good argument, great, if it's a bad one, I tend to call those out more....the hot takes I tend to call out more as well, for better or worse, seems though there's a lot of people that want to be RIGHT, rather than want the Kings to win, and when they win, it's always a yea but......for me that is just irritating as hell....

I really hope he’s been looked that way the whole time. There’s really no space for Durzi on this team. Durzi, Walker, and Edler should be off the team next year. If I’m being generous Walker could remain the 7th dman.

Kings need Vilardi and Fiala back before the Oilers game on April 4. That’s massive 4 point game the Kings need to put into the bag.

I’ve been told he has people’s comments that he disagrees with bookmarked so he can throw it in their faces later. Nothing weird about that at all.
