He is an RFA so this may end up in arbitration ending in a one year deal anyway when Blake has 10 mil mas bucks to work with.Villardi has yet to make big bucks in the NHL so far, with his injury history he's gonna be looking at securing his future more than buying into brotherhood because he can't afford to risk it.
Swap Clarke and Spence and I like itI really hope Blake addresses some clutter in the off-season. Clarke will make things interesting.
I’m not sure what value Walker has but he needs to go.
Bjornfot seems to be low on LAs mind. Wonder if it was true he was offered for Chychrun?
Durzi for his warts has some name recognition. Trade him, maybe move up in the draft if possible with him as a piece.
Gavrikov hopefully stays but who knows. There are other good ufa dmen too.
Anderson Doughty
Spence Roy
Gavrikov Clarke
Bjornfot
Not perfect but I’d be happy.
Examples, pleaseI get that this is a trope or a meme or whatever but it's actually 20 years old and if anything the Kings now OVERestimate how long their players will be out pretty frequently.
So frequently that I have actually thought that it was specifically done to combat this joke.
How many of those companies besides Toyota are still going?Brought to you by Schlitz and Chibari wine! Man even in '81 Toyota was the Kings top sponsor.
Pretty sure it's just them. How many of those companies besides Toyota are still going?
I just saw my lady's Schlitz yesterdayPretty sure it's just them.
Was it stout malt?I just saw my lady's Schlitz yesterday
They’ve got penicillin for that.I just saw my lady's Schlitz yesterday
Watched the game today and thought of this post. He looked really good again in their tourney win over Western Michigan. It’s tough to play the what-if game the further you go down the draft, as this wasn’t a one or the other thing like Stutzle/QB or Zegras/Turcotte but with the Kings being so loaded at C and so weak at LHD it certainly would have seemed logical to look for a LHD over a C. But a 5’10 defenseman from the NTDP does present some risks on draft day, but like with Caufield once you dominate at the NCAA level like this a lot of questions are answered. Hell of a pick for the Habs though, this is one of the best offensive seasons for a freshman blue liner ever, his stock has moved up well over a round in a season.I wanted Lane Hutson at the time of the pick. His talent jumps off the tape too. Really a misfire to take another middling forward with that pick when BPA AND position of need were both LD:

Yeah it's actually kinda nuts what he's doingIt’s tougher to critique draft decisions the further you go down the draft but

I'm feeling a little under the weather so off the top of my head I can't produce a ton butExamples, please
Ideally, Durzi returns to the pressbox for the rest of his Kings career.Anyone know the status for Durzi and Vilardi,
likely to play in one of this weekends games?
The Kings would gladly take anything the Sens offer, draft pick wise. Most would be happy with future considerations. The Kings really need to clear some RD.I've just realized that Vilardi, Korpisalo, and Gavrikov need new contracts, and the fact you can't buyout nor trade Petersen without retaining and using assets. How much would it cost to acquire Sean Walker for the Sens? Will probably make it so you can bridge Vilardi and sign both CBJ acquisitions

Great idea, he can sit next to Kopitar.Ideally, Durzi returns to the pressbox for the rest of his Kings career.
Have an equivalent/cheap LHD or pick?
Blake's backed himself into a corner here and while Walker is a good versatile bottom 4 guy he's redundant here--he'd be worth something in a vacuum but as you point out with the salary troubles I can't imagine we'd get too much for him.

You just told Herby the other day that he temporarily left the site because of Sol’s opinions (wasn’t even true) and here you are again adding nothing useful or constructive to the conversation. Just more instigating. Is life really that boring?
