I stand corrected then

Tbh they could have been shooting each other last season and I wouldn't have known
It wasn't especially brutal. In December Sully critiqued Malkin's decision-making for chasing Slavin behind the net in OT, leading to 3 on 2, GW G. And in April, regarding emotion control in the game Malkin got ejected for bitching at an official.

So that's when Sullivan decides to reign in players? Apparently the last 6yrs of this and suddenly he wants to do it to Malkin?

The entire Rangers series and the Islanders series combined is them losing their shit emotionally. They routinely do it during the regular season and let's not even forget the joke the system is where teams basically predict like a Tomlin offense, how they'll move the puck out of their zone and how they play their system.

Sullivan has been trying to make "his system" work since the collaborative coaching unit was disbanded after the 2 cups and he was left alone to his systems preaching and everyone seeing him for who he is, a Bylsma clone in a Boston wanker's costume.

Lol

Shane O'Brien is on NHL radio. Question was, is Kyle Dubas the guy you let run your organization? he said no. He would have let Hextall and Burke stay another year and go from ther…..
Shane O'Brien must be a loon then. What a doofus. He sounds like a ham and Egger probably went to a community college somewhere in Canada. He can go pound salt the son of a b****!

Not even close, Mr no neck is going to destroy Nashville.

He'll still f*** up the TOI distribution and the line combos but yeah, f***ing things up by misusing Carter or Granlund versus players who don't suck absolute shit should be step one, I guess.

Also, a solid roster takes away the excuses shielding Sullivan's coaching issues. So maybe that gets him one step closer to being replaced after this season.

I still think Dubas will hire a GM, but it'll be less like the traditional GM/POHO dynamic and more like Vancouver where JR's calling all the shots, imo, and whatever the f*** his name is is just kinda there playing pretend GM.

-edit- Alvin? I don't even know. Something with an A, I'm like 47% sure.

Honestly I think Dubas just ends up taking over as GM as well. Or he just gets a puppet of someone from Toronto where Dubas is truly calling the shots.

I think he could become both in the future, but based off what he said in this presser he's gonna find one in July.

Haase still seems to think Tulsky's a distinct possibility. Fingers crossed. That'd be the dream team.
I wonder if he's buying time for the Treliving decision on Pridham. But if it's not him, then which Toronto puppet?

People in the know (or not) seem to think that dude Cam Lawrence is somebody to keep an eye on. No idea who the f*** he is.

According to Daily Faceoff insider Frank Seravalli, Cam Lawrence, an analytic consultant for the Columbus Blue Jackets, could be someone to watch for the Pittsburgh Penguins GM role.

Lawrence has previously worked for the Florida Panthers, and is the chief financial officer for wellness company GNC. He also lives in the Pittsburgh area.

Lawrence grew up in Vancouver and worked for various technology and biomedical businesses throughout his career. He previously wrote for CanucksArmy while putting a big focus on data analysis in hockey. He has acted as a team consultant from 2015-23, spending the past two years with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
