Alluckks- Appreciated!
I think Tim Hunter could be a solid option. Those type of guys get a lot of respect by today's players, they can't understand how someone could play as an enforcer for 15 years in the NHL... A lot of experience. Can't say that I am blown away by the coaches he has worked with (Ron Wilson mainly) and the result of those NHL teams. But you are ultimately your own man.
Fits JD's preference for Western Canadian type of hockey, I also like Hunter's international experience. I think also participating in those tournaments can widen your horizon, you get to work with many very good people. Like each U20 national team has a staff of like 10 very experienced guys and girls, video scouts, trainers etc. You get a bit of a crash course from them and so forth.
Kris Knoblauch was an assistent for him for one U20 national team, who knows, might join as an associated coach in HFD too if he can't get another gig.
