Confirmed with Link: Kravtsov requests trade

I want to know why Kravtsov is willing to earn his way via the AHL club but not the Rangers. An organization that all players seem to call a 1st class organization. It just doesnt make sense.

Kravtsov just wants the fastest shortest path to a top 6 role. Even if its somewhere else where he has to play in the AHL. He wants the shortcut.

Kravtsov is probably an asshole. But as a matter of course, it takes assholes to know an asshole.

You have no idea what went on behind closed doors. To assume it's all on him, with all the mistakes this franchise has made dealing with players and prospects, is just naive.

Doubt that's the reason.

The most probable reason is someone, behind the scenes, did something pretty disrespectful or lied to him. Sure, maybe he thinks a lot of himself and maybe he's too cocky, but the fact that he's willing to play in the AHL for another team only suggests to me he was mistreated worse than we know in some way or just lied to. Possibly about having a roster spot. Which is the message they sent him by not inviting him to prospect showcase, by rushing to trade Buch for under his value and even by bringing Kravtsov in from Russia before they needed to, if they thought he wasn't ready.

As more info on this trickles out it’s becoming increasingly clear how awful this was handled by both parties. Shame on Drury for even bringing him back after the contentious exit interview.

I don’t know if it’s just arrogance thinking they could work it out or nativity but with Lias and Kravstov bolting the first time, they should have been more proactive

People keep bringing up LA and Kravstov and blaming the organization for how they "handled them"

Both had personal expectations of a top 6 role. When both didn't receive what they wanted, both bailed. Can we acknowledge that personal ego exists?

We aren't privy to what the organization promised or the feedback was given. But based on interviews with both players that is the info we possess. I think its fair to assess that the initial scouting and selection of both players was a poor choice or carried high risk. But people claiming that the organization is rotten are reaching.

He (or Dobson) should have been the original pick but for whatever reason, Gordie Clark seems to brain fart when he has a top 10 pick. His later round picks are all solid - it's just the top 10 that seems to confound him. Not that it matters since he's no longer in charge of that area.

Esp after the Lias incident where he was bullied and the team did nothing to address it. Absolutely another black eye on our organization.

Seems like they were trying to trade him all summer for Eichel, but when that didn't happen they should have had another option.

JD said the team would investigate and nothing came from it. So the guy that EVERYONE has declared as one of the classiest people that essentially fell on the sword for his GM and coach ignored it? I dont think so. It was JD that reached out to LA personally and mended the bridge enough to let him play in another league.

It's really is no big deal if we have a captain or not. But having the new head coach lie about it, doesn't sit well. And now we are to believe that Kravy lost his spot to Hunt and Gauthier, please... it was all about the waiver wire. Kravy was exempt, Hajek was not.

Maybe its semantics but lying to me is saying something and purposely doing something else. I dont think he did that. I think there isnt one true leader on the team and he wasnt going to pick a captain just for shits and giggles.

and truthfully he still didnt lie. He said “you can bet on it!” He was right. You could have placed a wager on either outcome. If uou bet on no captain you win!:naughty:
