Staal? El oh el.
Another one that is out of his mind, if his reported contract demands are true.
Staal? El oh el.
When you combine Kopitar's less than great play, and the struggles of the team, this contract situation couldn't have happened at a worse time.
I'd settle for a ****ing volcano God at this point. At least they get some **** done...
Pretty much this. If Kopitar's contract is shorter by even a year, this is really not a debate, and he ends up with a Toews contract. I suppose that's lucky for us, unlucky for him.
After last season and these first three games, I wonder what the ol' interior is looking like/feeling like these days.
Kurri, We love ya man.
Actually you stop to care at some point.
I know 99.9% of the people here have a different opinion as me but that is fine and what a forum is for.
It's the same old ... meh just 2 games in... meh just 10 games...
and this turns into ... no problem still 20 games left... we turn it around the last 10 games.... we are mathematically not eliminated... well, now we are.
I still have my opinion.
Our 2 cups covered up how massive our problems actually are.
From my point of view this is not even a system.
We would win all games when they remove both goals.
Sadly the point of hockey is to somehow move a little black disk into a red cage guarded by opponents.
It doesn't matter how long or how often you have the puck, it doesn't matter you do the little things right.
Fact is you have to overcome the opponents to make it happen.
As defender you learn important things very early.
1. make sure the opponents don't enter at the center
2. keep them at the boards, away from the danger zone
3. in the best case you force them into the corners because this is where the opponent will be at most disadvantage.
4. combine all that and the opponent will not score
Our offense system is waiving all advantages and even start with us being in disadvantage.
1. enter the zone at the boards
2. hug the boards
3. try to get to the corner as fast as possible
4. uhmm.. jeahh just stay there but make sure you have the puck
5. pass back to blue line, any other way is covered
6. shoot into the crowd
7. run after the turnover when puck gets deflected by opponent
8. tap goalies shoulder and tell him it's not his fault after the goal
This system CAN NOT score.
How people still defend it is far beyond me.
So yes.. you get more quite and let the people do who know way better than you.
But back to topic.
It doesn't matter you give Kopitar 4, 8 or 12 million.
The outcome will be the same because it is simply not his fault
Username memories.
Every username is a new chapter and this one only has a few pages left.

Maybe the oddest sentence a fan could ever write.
If it weren't for our problems, we could have won 5 cups in the last 4 years!
