Let’s hope the Guelph Storm can build momentum from this win and make that trip all the way to the Memorial Cup.

yeah, it's weird to think that one win in a best of 7 is a huge deal, but the fact that Ottawa was 14-0 in the postseason is a pretty big deal

Personally I also see Durzi just as a bonus. Curious how he will turn out. That is about it.

Though hilarious how Leafs fans try to downgrade the kid after the trade.

Vito from Woodbrige thinks he isn't much of a prospect anymore. Lacks vision, hockey sense, skating is average, at best, can't make a good breakout pass, probably not a guy who could play special teams at the next level, maybe he becomes a decent ECHL defenseman.

Yep, typical of most of Leafs Nation.

Would love to get a steal at that 22nd pick just to troll the leafs boards a bit.

Durzi with another assist and +1 in Guelph's 4-3 win. Phillips was scoreless and +1.

Guelph is currently leading Ottawa 3-2 in the series. What's remarkable is that Ottawa was 12-0 before entering the series.

Winner of this series goes to the Memorial Cup.

Someone was going to spoil Ottawa’s party. C’mon Guelph, get this done in Game 6.

Ottawa is definitely suffering from lack of DiPietro though. I just noticed he was 13-0, so the downward spiral started as soon as he went out.

Ottawa has the goalie pulled with 7 minutes left and on the PP.

Edit: Now 8-3. Guelph has booked their ticket to Halifax!

Happy to see a couple Kings prospects get a chance on the big stage and for the 3 former Hamilton Bulldogs (two who won with the Dogs last year) getting another chance.

Guelph 1st game at the Memorial Cup will be next Saturday afternoon versus the champs from the Quebec League.
