GDT: Kings @ Oilers Dec 29, 2016 6pm PST

Quick would have had paddle down there. Can't expect Budaj to win all the Kings games though. The Kings have to score goals.
 
Guys are used to Quick annihilating the guy coming out of the corner there with a pokecheck

Back to back games giving up a pp goal after stopping something like 20 straight. Both goals the same way. Bad coverage.
 
Nothing matters this season, if Kopitar is going to continue to kill the Kings with low goal production.

They are not a playoff team with Kopitar scoring sub 10 Goal season. Which he is on pace for.
 
This team doesn't even hit people (meaningful hits) the Oilers are not paying a price for ice they gain.
 
So bored with the game I've actually started to wonder if player equipment is something that's part of their contract or something they handle on their own, but the team manages..
 
Why are we not winning?

I'd rather see Lewis as the number 2 C for a month than watch Kopitar half ass it the rest of the season. Sit him out until whatever his problem is heals. Who knows, maybe the team pulls together without him because right now, they suck.

There's an equipment budget. Contrary to popular belief guys don't get unlimited sticks (unless there's an individual endorsement).

seriously. I got excited when he took a slapshot a few games ago but now that I think about it thats the last shot I remember him taking. something is up with him
 
Reminds me a bit of the 2011 Kings entering the playoffs with no Kopitar and a one-armed Williams (whose role is Toffoli at this point).

Plenty of heart, can't really question their effort, but not enough talent up front to bury a team.

Need everyone healthy, but also need guys playing to their abilities.

This is my line of thinking as well.

So what if you dig a hole, this team is not a playoff team with Kopitar playing like he is.
