Remember when the Kings use to make teams earn every inch of ice they got .... This roster doesn't, and hasn't done that for about Two season's now.

It's sad that there's almost no reason to even pay attention when Kopitar's line is on the ice. We basically have one scoring line, and it's one guy. Carter or bust.

Right now, you'd be hard pressed to find a more expensive, and at the same time less productive, line than Gaborik/Kopitar/Brown. 4 goals at 5v5 this year. Take the average in GP by each guy, it's .13 goals at 5v5 per game combined, which would be 11 total over 82 games. $21m in cap space.

It's damn near impossible to win with that. I don't know who the MVP is for the Kings; Carter, or the 3v3 point?

Just for fun, Clifford/Shore/Nolan, .21 goals at 5v5 per game.

Kopitar trying to pass that, out of a dangerous scoring area.

That's the Kopitar season in a nutshell.

I thought Sutter learned his lesson with Brown/Kopitar.

Brown can't play with Kopitar anymore, they have zero chemistry left. Brown needs to be in the bottom six, he is more effective there.

Gabo looks done, like Teddy Purcell, not an NHL player anymore.

Getting lots of comments on shield logo Palffy jersey. Good game so far. McNabb is struggling out there. Seto has had some good jump.

Did I see Mcnabb playing right side near the beginning or was I hallucinating?

I think he just ended up over there, not sure if that's how they started the shift but definitely something to watch for.

Probably the last dude active I want to see handling pucks on his backhand
