Maybe a team wants him in a deal and wants to see him play an NHL game. I know he's pegged as the future #1, but Campbell has proved he can play and win games.

The Kings also have Kehler and Hrenak...Hrenak is 7-0 for St Cloud this year. If a team wants Petersen in a package (especially if it can also send Pearson far away)
for an upgrade, do it. I hope Voynov g gets cleared soon, so they can deal him as well.

The only reason to keep Pearson and give Phaneuf BIG minutes, giving Thompson 13 minutes, is to get a shot at Hughes. May be worth it.
