I'm guessing you dont run a business either.

You guys can retweet me anytime you want.

Make Tippett happen. Show him the money. The dude took a ****ty coyotes team to the conference finals...

Also. Call ****ing MacDermid up. If we’re gonna be ****ty, at least we can watch MacDermid beat the **** out of people...

Agreed on Mac.

Re: Tippett, the beef I have with him is he does a lot with only a little...but when you give him more he doesn't do much. Look at his tenure in Dallas.

Then again, this team might be more like his Phoenix team anyway at this stage.

I still think we should get the dude standing outside of Staples shouting about the apocalypse to be our next coach.

That guy is still there?!?

I mean I guess he'll be right eventually

That's what ones does in his business.

People who follow him already are interested in what he has to say. Retweeting "I love what you have to say" instead of just responding "Thanks!" Just comes across as pathetic.

I mean, yes, people can do what they do with Twitter, but it just says more about him.

Just heard Hoven on SiriusXM saying that JS is Not the Kings coach when they play ANA, no matter tonight’s result.

According to the mayor, prior to the loss to PHI, Stevens job was safe and no players were unhappy with him. But following Thursday’s game things changed and now it looks like a coaching change happens.

Hoven said it was most likely Dan Bylsma because of connections to Blake/Luc and the fact that he gets money from BUF still. With JS out, the Kings will have to pay him and Sutter, plus the new guy.

The Mayor also said Patrick Roy and Lindy Ruff were names he heard were possibilities.

Barf, all around if any of that happens

I don't know what will have me more excited:
A) if this is true and Stevens is gone
B) if this is ends up not being true and the Mayor gets called out for his premature rumor-mongering

Dubas is a modern liberal progressive feminist millennial. He's not acquiring Voynov. Voynov has very little value right now anyways.

When Dubas was GM of The OHL Greyhounds he traded two players and seven draft picks to acquire Jack Campbell.

next time when a poster mentions that pre-season isn't important
you can use this quote:

On what it was that took place after the Flyers game, if anything, that brought him to this decision
I’m not sure it was just the Flyers game and on. Like I said, I think you look at training camp, you look at the regular season to where we are now, those expectations have not been met.

pre-season matters in every aspect
it at least matters to Rob Blake (and it also should for every GM), so from now on, we can all evaluate how our players look during future pre-season games and judge accordingly

And it isn’t so much the results of the pre-season games that mattered, but how they played. The stuff that worried many observers last season with their sloppy play was back tenfold. Nothing appeared to have been fixed. In fact, things looked even worse this season from the onset.

I get why Stevens was given an opportunity, but they made the wrong call in keeping a holdover who has been a part of this tired, old system for many years.

I think you misunderstood what some of us mean by preseason doesn't matter.

Teams have a mix of youth and veterans and they use preseason to get their timing back. A team's preseason performance is not an indicator of regular season performance.

Of course, there are things which get evaluated in preseason.

But I think you were putting too much weight in preseason as an indicator for the future.

Honestly I'm really happy with how Iafallo has been playing this season, seems like he's really taken a step and isn't afraid to shoot

Iafallo just keeps getting better. He had quite an adjustment last year from college 50 games to NHL (huge step with no minor league for him) and 82 games. I recall he needed a game
or 2 off during last year...plus he's pretty small.

I hope the coaches redo the lines. Kovalchuk playing line 3 with Kempe and Lewis? Idiotic. Kempe and Pearson need to start producing.
Amadio needs to be playing in top 9. Put Lewis back down to line 4. The 70's line no longer works. All of them are not great at creating offense. Good to see Carter with a little more jump and a few better games of late, but he's not the Carter of 2012-16. It is what it is, but he can still play. Give Pearson a few more games...if he does nothing, sit him and put Luff back in. I would like to see this:

IAFALLO KOPITAR BROWN
KOVALCHUK CARTER TOFFOLI
PEARSON AMADIO KEMPE
CLIFFORD THOMPSON LEWIS

PHANEUF DOUGHTY
MUZZIN LADUE
FANTENBERG MARTINEZ
