Rumor: KINGS 2018-19 Season - The Luc and Rob Show

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I never accuse him of lying. I wrote a few articles several years back for him; I know he does have connections, I just don't know to whom.

I was no longer useful to him though when I wouldn't promote his site on LGK, as I got an infraction when I posted one of my articles on there, so he just stopped publishing articles I wrote to him and never said anything to me.

I understand he's trying to generate hits, and he needs to show he's connected. But I'm just meh on the whole thing and admittedly a bit bitter to have been dropped for apparently no other reason than I wouldn't promote him anymore and get my account banned. That's just a guess though without the benefit of being told anything else.

Rosen going to be re-assigned by Robitaille to the being the intermission entertainment host if he isn't careful.

To be fair, I don't think anyone would have been surprised at all about a Thornton signing, and I wouldn't be surprised if it were a 'done deal' except for the paperwork before SJ brought him back. I'm less critical of him for that. He may have been played, or given good info that just expired/changed.

Otherwise, shit, I could make up rumors on a day like today.

I'm actually more impressed by the Bernstein crowd stubbornly sticking to their guns and defending Stevens. I vociferously disagree with a lot of what they're saying, but props for not simply running with easy rumormongering. Low bar though :P

Visnovsky had such a good shot from the blueline. Never had someone close to that. Sadly Doughty only does stupid slap shots into shins.

I miss having a competent defenseman who can get pucks through and connect with passes to teammates.




The power play was pretty damn fluid when Lubo was manning it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the best shots we've had in recent history was Visnovsky, Blake, and Schneider right ?

That pretty much covers it. Boucher had an awesome shot too. After those guys, it's been pretty bad. Jack Johnson didn't have much of a shot. Muzzin is like Modry, who can rip it but shoots wide or into bodies more often than not. Same goes for Doughty. These guys didn't seem to learn to keep their shots low.

I should also add that Voynov had a great shot, Doughty recently talked about missing that one time option he presented when he was with the team. I also hear he has a mean right hook...

It can't be a coincidence I feel like. The way the started out last year and how they played was unlike I've ever seen them play like before. Once decemebr/January came about the team played more tight and less risky

Sadly, once our future GM arrived to screw the Kings over one more time, Lubo started deferring to him and passing up on his own shot.
