I understand it's blasphemous to even suggest it, but I'm of the belief that LA should think about moving Doughty. It would have to be one hell of package to get him, and I think that has got to be considered. Something to chew on.
 
God damn, even Rosen is breathing fire at this point:

"Is it even necessary to reprise the latest details? The Kings are in one deep and ominous quagmire. For every game they wait before making some significant change, there’s nothing to suggest they’ll deviate from continuing to pile up ugly results like Thursday night’s."

Here comes the change. Be careful how you wish, for wishes do come true....blah blah blah.....

So we know that Luc and Blake believe in our coaching staff and we also know that they are looking at "adding skill" to our top 6, does that mean that we can all be satisfied? I for one am not.

This is a team that DESPERATELY needs a shake up and not some 2nd line maybe could be a player. That is what we are dealing away. How is changing parts that are alike going to make us better?

What we are watching is a team where each player is playing for themselves and nobody seems to be playing for each other. We have been a competitive team because we had all bought into the system and were playing for each other. Now that is gone and if you ask me it has been for awhile but with it's exit we can make wholesale changes and start the kind of rebuild that it takes to win championships.

Rant rant rant.

Move along.....

If Sutter was on board, it would have been better if the Kings traded the team away and kept Sutter as coach. I still believe his puck possession style can win championships. The problem was that the players couldn't sustain that play over the long haul.

Even that is questionable at this point. There might be 3 guys that have selfishly shown up this year. Kovalchuk, Iafallo, at least earlier since even his energy has gone missing lately, and Campbell has put up a fight. In fairness to Brown too, he had a great effort against the Rangers.

He does have some connections.

But he's also capitalizing on the fact the Kings need to make a change after an embarrassing loss and even Rosen's breathing fire to suggest a change is imminent to generate hits.

That's funny. On Twitter he messaged me when I told him he was lying through his teeth about the Kings signing Joe Thornton, and it's shameful for him to say something is a done deal like he said with Joe, then he blocked me.
